Author has written 17 stories for Song of the Lioness, Stargate: SG-1, Merlin, Artemis Fowl, and Jane Eyre.
My pic is an adaptation of the Alot, from a posting from the blog Hyperbole and a Half. You should check it out, because she's hilarious.
It's been years since I've actively written anything. All WIPs are dead, never to return. I'm not good with plot resolution. I really only read Merlin these days, because that's my current thing.
I'm kind of a huge nerd. It makes my life great.
If I leave you a review that seems rude or offensive, I can 98% guarantee it wasn't meant that way. I don't review something to begin with unless I like it, so it's probably just me sticking my foot in my mouth. And if something is on my alert list, I still like it even if I don't review. If I stop liking it, I'll just remove it.
I'm about to ramble, all the relevent information is finished. You may now exit the building.
I used to have these rules for myself. I didn't read fics with non-canon pairings, or slash where it wasn't clearly canon, or AU, or Modern AU, or 'Let's make them all teenagers going to high school' fics. I realized one day while reading a Merthur High School fic that that fandom convinced me to break every rule. Congrats on turning me into a slasher, Merlin.
That being said, I'm a terrible person who basically just reads a lot of Merthur fics. I understand how bad they are, and that it's simply not there, and not true. Really, I get it. It's just so much more fun. Maybe because the only person he's ever been canonly paired with was only in two episodes. Maybe because he and Arthur are, like, the main characters and shipping them let's me have to two best developed characters as the most important people and have romance at the same time. Maybe I just suck, whatever.
I feel like Bradley/Colin fics are just really weird and a little creepy-stalkerish. They're real people, you can't decide how they run their lives like with fictional characters. But I understand that just because you may write one doesn't mean all your fics are crap. It probably just mean you're as in love with Colin Morgan's eyes and accent as I am, and there is no shame in that.
Google 'Colin Morgan sideburns'. The first one has the Doctor in it. several of the rest are rather attractive. I think the punk look from Midnight worked quite well for him.
My car's name is Merlin.
I call it Sexy, but only when we're alone.
It's a '95, so it's kind of old. I just got it, so to me it's new. I don't legally own it, so technically I'm borrowing it. It's blue.
