Author has written 21 stories for Star Wars, and Handmaid's Tale.
I saw A New Hope when I was 6 and have been inspired by Leia and her friends ever since. My profile name, Arallute, refers to a bell-shaped Alderaanian flower. When the flower dies, the petals close up over the seeds so that the seeds make a sound when shaken. The arallute was often used as a baby rattle on Alderaan, and the flower was often planted by friends in newlyweds' gardens. I like that story.
If you read a story of mine, please leave me a review or PM me with your thoughts. I'd love to hear what you think.
In 2020, I spent a lot of lockdown binge-watching The Handmaid's Tale, so my recent stories take place in that world. "A United State" is set after Season 3, but was written before Season 4 was released. My version is a happier one, in which our protagonists make it safely to Canada. June never gets tortured or falls to the dark side, Hannah never gets threatened...it's just a much sweeter, more romantic version of events.
I also explore Nick Blaine's motivation in a (much) shorter story, "Nick's Crossing," which is The Crossing (season 4, episode 3) from his perspective. I view him as loyal to June, not to Gilead or democracy or anything else. And as sort of a sequel to that story, Nick calls Luke in "Unknown Caller."
I fill in some gaps in Luke and June's conversations of season 4 in "Whoever You Turn Out To Be." Because I'm on team Luke as well as team Nick. There's absolutely no action in this story--it's just two people sitting around and talking. It has spoilers for season 4, so please finish the season before reading this one.
While tapping my foot impatiently for Season 5 to start, I came up with an idea for how to get June back to Gilead. "The Trade" takes place after season 4. Luke fans will probably be disappointed with this one.
Most of my stories are about Star Wars and fall into 2 categories. Here's a listing, in chronological order.
HAN & LEIA:
Breaking Protocol (TESB)
Dining with Dad (TESB)
Two Dreams (now Ben is a little boy)
Snow Day (and here he's 13)
Who Cares about Bloodline, Anyway? (during "Bloodline," so Ben is 23)
A Box of Letters (various time periods, TESB through TFA)
The Alderaanian (begins during A New Hope, ends around Last Jedi)--not finished
Musings, by Han Solo (post-TFA, so obviously not completely canon)
POE & REY: These all take place after TFA, although Storytime & Musings have flashbacks to Rey's childhood.
Storytime with Master Luke
Learning to Fly
Concatenation--I never finished this one, but I liked the start, so I kept it online
Musings, by Rey
Poe Dameron: Poster Boy of the Resistance
Gavin Bell (7)
Olive Solo (2)
S Lyster (15)
Sabacc Gal (4)
