Author has written 11 stories for Dragon Ball Z. Hello. Please, just call me Me. Mr. Me is my father. Seriously, someone out there is called Mr. Me 1. And I thought I was original. My interest; Reading DBZ fan-fiction, and writing DBZ fan-fiction. Yeah, that just about sums up my life. Nice and short, isn’t it? I’ve also taken a big interest in writing, and am hoping to get further into doing it professionally. And it’s all thanks to the readers here, who supported me, and made me realise just how fun it is. I like Dragon Ball, and I love Dragon Ball Z. I tolerate GT, but I don’t like Super at all. The thing I dislike the most is how it is just everywhere. I can’t look up or read anything DB or DBZ related without immediately bumping into Super. Ongoing stories. Someone like Me: No, this is not a play on my name. But maybe it should have been. This is a story where Goku feels lonely, and wishes to meet someone like him (title drop), meaning someone else with a tail like him. Cue Vegeta. This changes the story line quite a bit, both expected and unexpected. Action/story oriented, but FanFiction.net does not have those genres, for some reason. Put on hiatus, for now, as I did not like how it was going to go, and I had a lack of inspiration. And I am juggling several things at once, and it did not go well. Golden God: A little ‘what if’ scenario that pretty much grew on me. And for some reason, it is my most popular story, by far. Gohan is forced to reveal himself as a Super Saiyan in the middle of Satan City, and the world starts worshipping him as a god. I took a somewhat realistic take on what would happen. Not sure what genres to give it though. This can get a little dark, and has an M rating for a reason. Demon King Son Piccolo Gohan: In a world where the use of energy has became common, Gohan goes to an energy teaching school. He is declared the Demon King, for… some reason. It kinda goes downhill from there. It’s inspired by Demon King Daimao, things I couldn’t use in Golden God, and a mystery manga. Legacy of a Fleeing Saiyan: (formerly Three parts Saiyan and Five parts Human) A story about a teenage Gohan, a Videl with Saiyan blood, and a time travelled Pan. I’m working on this one. It needs some serious work, as there are many things that just aren’t right. I do like this one a lot, and I’ve got quite a bit in my head for it. Unfortunately, I’m going to have to postpone this one for a while. In fact, I have started to think of pulling it down and just re-writing the whole thing. My Anthology of Randoms: This is where I’d put my inspiration. IF I HAD ANY Ok, jokes aside, this is a collection of scenes and ideas I couldn’t fit in a story proper, or turn into a decent one-shot. The stories aren’t directly connected, nor in chronological order. And who knows, maybe I find I can fit something from here someplace proper. Not going to delete it from this collection though. I also started writing these out so they’d stop bouncing around in my head. It gets really crowded up here sometimes. And since they are written, I might as well share them. Finished Stories. Unwanted Help: One-shot. My very first upload. A one-shot about Videl and Saiyaman, and how she is dealing with his presence. I might expand this on idea later on. Sometime next year, maybe? Super Saiyan Pregnancies: One-shot. Yeah, this one may have been a bad idea. Let’s just say the creation of this involved a little too much alcohol. A weird idea I got, that human women can go Super Saiyan while pregnant of a baby with Saiyan blood. It is not a very good fanfic. Future Tales: The idea is actually older than Someone like Me, but I only looked back at it recently. This involves Gohan and Videl travelling four hundred years into the future, where they get in trouble. Mostly adventure, and a little romance. The Sleeping Satan: One-shot. Another bad idea. Gohan ends up staying over at Videl’s place, and is about to make a terrible discovery. (Oh, the suspense.) The Superman Act: One-shot. Co-written with CloakSky. Feeling inspired by a certain movie, Gohan goes and tries his hand at the one thing you'd never believe he could do: acting. Sparring Match: A story about Gohan and Videl doing something they have in common. Practising Martial Arts. On each other… Basically, Gohan and Videl meet in the ring and have a match, followed by more matches against each other. During them, their friendship flourishes, as they get to know and respect each other. Of course, Gohan holds back his power, these are matches of skill, not of sheer power. This story got surprisingly much attention. I really did not expect that. Things I’m working on, but not yet ready to upload. Future Tales 2, Tales of the Past: Ok, this isn’t actually what I’m going to name it, but I’m not sure what else to call it yet. Gohan and Videl have been set adrift on the currents of time, and find themselves way in the past, with no known way back. It’s not a true sequel, but the idea was born off of Future Tales, so it’s kind of related. This one is a few tads more serious though. It’s written really slowly, even for my standards. So it might take a few… years… Mega Videl (not the actual tittle): I’ll let my friend describe this one. “He gave up golden god to write about Videl, but gave her super powers with like infinity plus 2 damage, and take out Gohan with one punch. Oh, and Hercule becomes a god” With all of these works, you may ask yourself, does this person still have any free time left? The answer is simple. No, I do not. TT_TT Unfortunately, I am a slow writer. I do love writing, and I don’t think I’m going to quit anytime soon! |
