I'm a novice fanfiction writer and a veteran fanfiction reader.

After about 13 or 14 years of excessive fanfiction consumption, I had many ideas for different stories, until the beginning of 2023 when a single scene came to mind that sparked a story that I just HAD to write down. So 10 hours of sickenly focused writing, my first chapter was finished.

Fish Cake considders the idea that the Elemental Nations from Naruto are an island on the second half of the Grand Line. Stuff happens which causes a pre time skip Team 7 to join a certain sheep headed ship's crew at Reverse Mountain.

The server has two purposes. First, it’s for discussions about the story between readers. I absolutely love speculations, and discussions about speculations would be pretty damn interesting to read for me. I don’t know if anybody will be interested in that, and I will absolutely not get involved in such discussions because that would be a huge risk in terms of spoilers, but maybe there are some people who would like to have conversations about Fish Cake, that can’t do that through this platform, so there you have it.

The second reason was inspired by my sis Lapin de Lune (who is also my beta reader), when she gifted me a fanart of my story. Part of it can be seen as my new cover art, but I thought, maybe there are other people who would like a way to share art that was inspired by my story. Especially once my Naruto characters start wearing non canonical outfits. So why not use a discord server for that?

If you do engage in discussions there, please keep them civil. I won’t get involved in discussions, but I will throw people out, if they think it’s ok to insult each other.
