Author has written 23 stories for Peter Pan, Fullmetal Alchemist, and Fruits Basket. Icon by me! Welcome to my humble profile page. If you want to see my collaborations with Bizzy, they can be found at TheCrazyStaffers Umm, the names Alison, Aly for short. Age: 23 I always like a good sci-fi, fantasy, adventure, or romance story. Sailor Moon and Outlaw Star started me out on anime. Yeah, I was in elementary school when it was fist shown on t.v., like 15 minutes on each weekday before school started. Fullmetal Alchemist is a favorite, and I really like Bleach so far, Naruto isn't bad, but I highly suggest watching the subbed versions to the dub, I enjoy Fruits Basket, Ouran High School Host Club, D.Gray-Man, Trigun, GunxSword, G.T.O., Baccano! and Fate/Stay Night. My family and my friends are the most important thing in my life, after them comes school, work, and writing. My hopless romantic ways can be seen in my work. I am found with a notebook and pen by me constantly. When I get bored during a lecture at school, I write or draw. I do have an account on fictionpress.com where my pen name there is tangledwords86. I am both a Harry Potter and LOTR fan, of course the books are better, but the movies aren't bad either. If you have seen Ella Enchanted and haven't read the book, read it. When I went to go check that book out at the library the librarian looked at me all funny "You know this is a children's book, right?" Yeah she asked me that in the snottiest voice possible, grrr. Just because I'm not a child doesn't mean I can't enjoy a book for pre-teens every once in a while, all I care about is a good plot. The plot in the book and movie are so different that it shouldn't have been called the same thing. Also Howl's Moving Castle, very good book and movie, but if you don't want to be disappointed with the story line watch the movie first. Eragon is a good book, and I had a problem with the movie, the movie was horrible. His Dark Materials has caught my attention. The Alchemyst is also an amazing book. I recommend the Uglies series by Scot Westerfield. Anyone looking for something like LoTR I suggest The Wheel of Time series by Robert Jordon. Currently, I'm reading the Kingmaker, Kingbreaker series by Karen Miller. I've recently finished reading Graceling and look forward to the other two books the author is putting out. I've also read the Percy Jackson and the Olympians series. Peter Pan is probably my favorite story from childhood. In the future I may become a screen writer just so there is someone out there who believes in staying completely true to a cherished book when turning it into a movie. Currently I am majoring in English and philosophy while minoring in theater.I have plans to become a High school teacher, because my life without teaching or learning feels empty. Now celebrating National Cow Day on May 8th in honor of Hiromu Arakawa's birthday ((lol, that's my birthday too, but she's older than me.)) Anyone curious about this fma_fic_contest I keep saying my work was first posted to? It's always fun to get more members, and see more participants, though it does make voting time rather hard. Currently I am working on 9/10 fics for this site. The Boy Who Loved Wendy: it will be updated once a week, but it will be short chapters, most under 1,000 words. After reading Peter and the Starcatchers by Dave Barry and Ridley Pearson and Peter Pan by J.M. Barrie, I decided to start writing this piece. We all know Wendy loved Peter, but we also know she grew up and had a child, while Peter stayed a young boy. This story is told in the same style as Peter Pan and will end with Wendy tucking her daughter Jane into bed. For those of you expecting a wendyxpeter story, sorry to disappoint you, it is wendyxoc. I don't have it in me to make Peter grow up, he so wanted to stay a boy forever.(On Hold- at the moment I can not find the voice for this one, i know it is inside me somewhere, but I just can't connect with it right now)Update: 7-20-09 Progress is being made, slowly, but it's there. I'm going to have to read through Peter Pan once more to make sure I've got the proper voice back before I start typing again, but I've got a notebook started again. As I said, slow progress. Random One-Shots: The title explains most of it. Yes, the ideas are random, but since I just finished the Royia challenge most will be Roycentric and or Rizacentric, some Royai in there, but not always. Other characters will eventually be the center of some of these one-shots. I just need to get Roy and Riza out of my system, but they are so much fun to write. Little plot bunnies hop around in my head all day, but only a few stay put and grow. On Hiatus until one or more challenges are complete, only to be updated if a plot bunny is about to explode in my head. One Day She'll Say Yes: 30Kisseschallenge with a spin on it, instead of kisses each chapter will be a variation on how he might propose to her. Each one will take place at a different time in the anime/manga/movie or not follow any of them at all. Updated randomly Back to Back: Another set of responses to the RoyAi 100 themes. It's All For You: A summer drabble challenge. You can find the table at my livejournal here. A collection of 100 manga-verse drabbles that includes quite a few characters and pairings. Spoilers are labeled at the top of each chapter. The Mechanic and the Alchemist: A series of EdWin one-shots. Becoming Hawkeye: We don't know much about Riza's father, or why her eyes have a red hue to them. This story explores the possibility that she is Ishbalan. It begins in a small Ishbalan town in the desert, where a young child sticks out like a sore thumb, because of his appearance. How does one dedicated to Ishbal become an alchemist? Doom and the Wedding: It all started with a letter, and her family conspiring against her. 60 days in the life of Olivier Milla Armstrong. Will she survive a trip back home for her sister's wedding? Updated frequently Fade to Black: A place for any HohenheimxTrisha one-shots that I write. Updated randomly. Can't Say I Love You: Denny & Maria centric pieces. Titled to be more ambiguous than most my work. Most pieces will follow points from the manga storyline. Updated randomly...as ideas come to mind. Do I know You: My FMA_big_bang response! It may or may not grow. This is a collection of one-shots focusing on the theme of first meetings. The term first meetings not being exactly literal. It could be the first time a meets b after a certain even or the first time they ever meet. So far there's EdWin, WrathxMrs. Wrath(before she's the Mrs.), Havoc and Rebecca(more gen than anything else), Riza meeting Grumman, OlivierxBuccaneer, MeasxGracia, HohenheimxTrisha, Mr. & Mrs. Armstrong(before they're married), and AlxMay. Completed Works Nobody Needs to Know !Omake!an omake of Bizzy's fic Set right after Mustang, Hawkeye, and Havoc(who was there to throw off the scent of what Mustang was doing) return to Eastern, so ranks are different! Office hi-jinks ensue once Havoc gets wind that Mustang is apparently allergic to blood...:3 The Deal: KazumaxHanajima, a one-shot. A Fic request from Dailenna. My first Faruba fic, but I'm very glad I wrote it. It was nice to have a change from what I usually write. I plan to tackle some more Faruba soon. 100 Moments to Live For: My way of tackling the EdWin 100 themes challenge. Each piece varies in length. Military Affairs: Ken Pierce is graced with being able to view a quick interaction between Roy Mustang and Riza Hawkeye while they are on break during one of their night shifts. Their personalities are the building blocks of his new characters. The publishers love his story pitch and contract him for a trilogy called "Military Affairs". Maria Ross reads every single book Ken Pierce had ever written, she can't get enough of his action packed suspense stories. What happens when she realizes the characters are based off of Roy Mustang and Riza Hawkeye? Plus, Scar is still trying to get the Flame Alchemist for the part he played in the Ishbalan War. Add an obsessive women, and that is it. The Basics of Alchemy: Ling's thoughts on equivalant exchange just before his body accepts the philospher's stone, making him into the new Greed. The Gift of Royai: Written for 2007 Royai Day. In which YoungAdult!Riza and YoungAdult!Roy want to get each other a gift for their birthdays, which happen to fall on June 11th ((not official)). Will the gifts turn out to be something they both want or need? Or will they both end up pretending to like what they have received? In 100 Words: Royai 100 theme challange-All drabbles are based upon the relationship Roy and Riza share. All take place during the series (anime or manga), movie, after the movie, or disregard it. If any spoilers pop up I will try to give a warning at the beginning of the chapter. Personally this is one of my favorite pairings because it can be so playful. I am really proud of this collection and it blows my mind to see my own improvement from the first to last chapter. Perpetuating The Laws: Each chapter is based on different characters from Mustang's team. Each chapter is themed around a Murphy-esq law. Some gen and romance in there. It's Tradition: The annual Armstrong Holiday Party has never been so well attended before, and with the party there were traditions observed. Olivier didn't always approve of these traditions, but if she could use them to her advantage... Unfit For Battle: Sometimes, it doesn't hurt to be part of an influential family. Takes place during Ishval war. Future Works
