Author has written 6 stories for Resident Evil, Fatal Frame, Prometheus, 2012, and Dishonored.
My Blog:..it's fairly new and will replace my Live Journal. I'll keep it strictly Writing Only, but that includes fanfiction, original fiction, and general writing stuff. Recent is my commentary on
Also, here is myI'm not that active, but you can follow me anyway :)
My. Not much there either, but my other fics will be migrating there soon.
I deleted Chains of Air and Glass and Shadows and Butterflies. I have no intention of finishing either one. If Silent Hill captures my interest again, I may revamp that story, but otherwise, it's dead weight.
Rare Side Effects...for some odd reason, keeps getting hits. I can't explain why. But it won't be deleted. I just have to get my shit together and spit out that last chapter. As for the sequel...eh. Another iffy.
Black Gates: Also keeps getting hits. I know the interest is still there, so I'll definitely continue that one. That, and Prometheus 2 is in the works. Movie's due 2016, but I plan on finishing my AU long before then, lol.
Eden: Damn. No clue. I had big plans for that one and now they're all fuzzy and blah. I'll have to really consider if I want to continue it or not.
Chosen: Again, no clue. And another one that I had big plans for. The RE canon story has made this story extreme AU. Not that it should hinder it any (doesn't hinder anyone else here) but I'm not sure if there's interest. Hasn't everyone jumped on the Jake Muller bandwagon anyway? Is Wesker still popular? Maybe I should wander into the RE category and take a gander.
Shadowed Fate: Will be my "deadline" fic. Three week updates. This game is my new #1 of all the games I've played. I can't believe I didn't get Dishonored when it first came out. The style, characters, world are amazing. This story is pretty fresh in my head which is the reason why I'm using it for the deadline experiment.
My, if you want to see what I look like, and snoop through details of my sordid life. I don't post much. It's only to really keep track of wayward family members and old High School pals.
Writing wise...I've been at it a while. Self taught and studied it for years. Experimented, played around with some styles - decided my current one suits me best. A bit of abstract, a bit of poetry, and emphasis on emotions and sensory details. Sometimes I let the more spiritual side of me sneak in, some concepts/themes that are mystical and numinous. Not a huge "tech" writer. It's one of my weaknesses. Dialogue used to be, but I think I'm getting the hang of it now.
My stories tend to be on the darker side: plenty of sex, blood, violence when it serves the plot or shapes the characters. I prefer slash to het unless intrigued by the pairing. Plot devices are fun, and putting canon characters in situations they have never faced before. I tend to favor AU - more wiggle room, but I always keep the canon accurate when possible.
Most of my stuff is WIP: I tend to write/update stories when inspired and encouraged. Keep in mind I have two jobs and a hectic life. Sometimes my updates will be sporadic.
Biggest inspirational authors to me: Stephen King, Patricia McKillip, Richard Morgan, and Janet Fitch.
