Author has written 140 stories for Emergency, Hardcastle and McCormick, Starsky and Hutch, NCIS, Torchwood, Supernatural, and Sherlock.
I've been writing fanfiction since I was 9 years old, although I didn't know what that was at the time. I wrote for my own entertainment, to complete a story left open-ended on air, or to explore a particular universe. From there I found a group of girls in Junior High who wrote Star Trek fan fiction. Once I joined, we broadened our horizons to the shows from the day as well as a few oldies but goodies. We exchanged our stories and, through mutual feedback, learned more about writing.
From there, I discovered fanzines and slowly began writing for them. After all, a story submitted and accepted meant a free zine! Finally I began reading online and posting my old stories and writing new ones.
Things I will not EVER read:
NCIS ~ TIVA. If you're the greatest writer in the world, I will not read any story pairing Ziva and Tony. Or, frankly, Ziva and almost any member of Team Gibbs.
Any fanfiction that is abusive. BDSM is okay if both parties are willing and safewords exist and honored.
Sexual relationships with a child or an animal. I don't even care if the child or animal was a character that I like, I will not read. Incest between adults is another situation entirely (Wincest, Simon & Simon), although it tends to not be my kink.
UPDATE: While my output has slowed down, I do still have numerous stories in progress. These include a huge Emergency! story that deals with bigotry and is 2/3 completed. At least 7 different NCIS stories in various stages of completion, none close to be ready to post as I've gone back to my refusal to post a story until it is completed. You would think that retirement would clear my schedule enough to read, but it hasn't.
