Author has written 4 stories for X-Men: The Movie.
English is my jam. I teach college composition and creative nonfiction at my local university. I am an essayist, but I love writing fic, too. I started reading it at 12 (damned if I could wait for the next Harry Potter to come out), writing it at 17 (you don't wanna see that crap). I'm 30 now, still here. I have a toddler who gives me a run for my money. I own Wolverine socks.
If you wanna hang out with me more and if you want to see alerts for regular chapter updates check out my tumblr:
But, for now, an update of what I'm actively working on:
Outtakes (2/6 chapters completed): This is just a series of one shots developed from unused ideas I had for Fray. Six scenes spanning both timelines, mostly fluffy in content. (Logan/Rogue, Laura)
Twelve (0/12 chapters completed): A story about how we become who we already are. Four days in Laura’s life, each day shown from three different perspectives. Sequel to Fray. (Logan/Rogue, Laura)
Engines (0/20 chapters completed): AU. Meaner and grittier than Fray, but thoroughly, profoundly Rogan. “Sleeping Dogs” (jaqofspades), “Other Ways of Speaking” and “Run” (lachlanrose) are all AUs and are all stories I hold near and dear to my heart. They helped to inspire this one, and if you haven’t read them and you like Rogan I would go back and do that immediately before reading my silly crap. All three stories, in my opinion, depict a gruffer/deeply cynical Logan, at least initially, and that sort of depiction of his character was something I wanted to explore. This starts off kind of like X1, but diverges from canon almost immediately. So, as a mild disclaimer, please know that I am intentionally writing both Logan and Rogue a bit differently than I did in Fray, even if they are, in the end, the same characters. (Logan/Rogue)
