Author has written 4 stories for Hairspray, and Toy Story.
January 2017 Update:
Holy crap. These stories are still here, and I feel honored and inspired that people still read them.
Well, no excuse for the horribly long absence. To be quite honest, I thought it would be permanent, because I went to grad school for English and a creative writing thesis took over my life. But I did eventually graduate, and I never, ever stopped writing. I now teach creative writing at the local university. I specialize in creative nonfiction (CNF), a genre I have profound respect for and that I love.
All that being said though, I need a break from CNF. The real world hurts too much right now to write the truth, so I want to return to my first love. My goals: I hate unfinished things, so I plan to finish Go Lost or Go Home. Also, I'm writing a new random Toy Story fic because I have a two year old daughter and pixar movies are about all I watch. Also, a profile name change, because I think I've changed. I'm a mom for one, married and boring now. Heh. But I'm still a writer. (And I still like Broadway. That will never be different.)
Also, not that it's all that wonderful, but you can read my latest original thing I wrote here if you like (very short).
Status of upcoming stories - updated for January 2017:
Go Lost or Go Home: (Rating M) . Sequel to ASFS. Substantially shorter than ASFS, but has quite a bit more bite. Rated M for some explicit scenes and mature themes. Expect a ton of original supporting characters. New chapters beginning in 2017. I have no idea where it's going to go. I'll have to raid my old computer and find my old notes.
Outlet (Rating T): I know Toy Story canon inside and out (thanks two year old daughter), and I have some lingering questions. I wanted to play around with some of the themes and characters in my own little story.
