What circumstances would cause a reknowned Vulcan diplomat to maintain an 18 year rift? In the Holo series, as in Trek, the only thing that trumps a Vulcan's logic is his biology. These are the Vulcans of Amok Time and JTB. Not explicit but mature themes.
