Author has written 45 stories for Rurouni Kenshin, Gundam Wing/AC, Weiss Kreuz, Trigun, Sandman, Earthian, Smallville, Power Rangers, Harry Potter, Sky High, and Numb3rs.
about me: I carry a journal pretty much wherever I go, so while the subject matter is unpredictable, I aim to write every day. I'm quite heavily into slash, despite the content of my earliest fics.
currently: I am obsessed with y!gallery and have been spending much of my time there, mostly with reposting things that are here (as well as things I can't post here), and faving and commenting and generally being social. Seeing as there are restrictions for a lot of the places that I like to post, though, I decided to make an lj comm specifically for my fiction. That's still in the works though. I'm posting works in past-to-present order, for the most part, and I want the older stuff to be well buried before I start linking to the journal. Why? Because hopefully I've improved. Besides, you don't really want to read badfic, do you?
also: After a Weiss Kreuz marathon with Rosalyn_Angel, the two of us decided to do a 100 prompt table for the pairing Aya/Schuldig. (Rather, in my case, Schuldig/Aya) We're a little over 60 percent done, and have posted some of the completed works on an Aya/Schuldig lj community.
I'm obsessed with the TV show Numb3rs. I adore the Eppes family, and the supporting cast, and Agent Ian Edgerton, who's been in four episodes and who I want desperately to read more fic about. If you've written a Charlie/Ian, or really anyone/Ian fic, drop me a link in a PM, ne?
Also, I've become re-obsessed with a keyfiction and a chainfiction. Basically, they're stories about sex slaves and their masters. Keys are male slaves, Chains are female slaves. To train a Key/Chain, you write up a character description. To own a Key/Chain, you draw a picture or write a story/poem for a Key someone else has trained/described. I think I'll post my keyfic side-stories on fictionpress.com (where I'm also called newtypeshadow) so people can get a taste of keyfiction. It's great fun!

current favorite authors: Charles de Lint, Octavia E. Butler, and Neil Gaiman. Also, many authors of books on writing, including Julia Cameron, Natalie Goldberg, and Pat Schneider. Currently reading Heather Sellers's book Chapter After Chapter and loving it!
on WIPs and finished stuff: Anything marked WIP is a work-in-progress. If there are no plans to finish, it will be noted by the link. Everything else is done.
last update: I took down a bunch of my first posts on ffnet--specifically the Gundam Wing stories and almost-poems. Some are still up, but only because I want to give them a slightly fairer read-through before I decide to permanently delete them. I feel like in the nearly seven years since I posted those, I've improved, and that those works no longer represent my writing style or level. Tune in to see if the purge will continue...
