Hi, everyone! This is Tim AKA Animefan57 here on FanFiction.net. It's been such a long time since I have been on here and writing stories (2012 to be exact), and for now, I plan to make somewhat of a return in this latter part of 2016 as we go into 2017. I regret leaving in the first place, but life happens. I have been very busy with life, as all of us are at some points.
I am 23 years old, a born and raised Chicagoan on Chicago's Northwest side. I have autism, a psychological disability that limits you from thinking like "normal" people do, comprehending things, etc. I also have a significant learning disability in mathematics. But! I have gotten lots of help over the years, and look at me now. I can write intelligently, and a lot, and I am well-spoken (you won't see that in some of my fanfics, but yeah. LOL!). My writing skills came from my older sister, Melissa (penname is MyVampire Eyes on here), who I love dearly. As a result of my writing skills, I have written for my high school's newspaper, as well as multiple blogs, most of them being community-orientated. I have a very good sense of humor, and I am a caring person. I'm a good person. I'm a people's person, meaning I love talking and having conversations for the most part. I love to have fun. I love to make people laugh, and being able to put a smile on someone's face. Though, I have a no-nonsense side, and I do have a bit of a short temper. I'm that kind of person who likes to have things go in the right order, and to be done almost perfectly. I believe in being organized most of the time.
I was a former community activist in my community, having attended many, many neighborhood meetings and working with the police to make things better where I live. As you can imagine, growing up in urban Chicago, my neighborhood hasn't been the best, but it has gotten so much better. However, as a result of living here my entire life, I've have a lot of impacts from it. I have watched the street life unfold right before my eyes, ranging from gun violence (and violence in general), to robberies, to the "no-snitch" mentality, to poverty. And as a result of living with these kinds of conditions (and the people as well), I have a street side to me, although I try not to live in that fashion.
I currently work part-time at a local community college as a testing proctor as well as an academic coach for first-year students, who are in developmental education courses, just trying to help them become adjusted to community college, and attempting to provide them with support services so that they can be successful in school. I also attend college myself, at Northeaster Illinois University, where I am a Justice Studies major. I am working on getting my B.A. in Justice Studies, and hope to use the degree to launch a career in case management and/or advocacy for people with disabilities.
Okay, enough of me, for now. As a writer here, I will be writing fanfics for a couple of anime I really like, even though, admittedly, I'm certainly not the biggest anime fan at all. Some of the animes I will be writing on are Yu-gi-oh!, Digimon, Harry Potter (not an anime, obviously), Cyberchase, and maybe a couple of others. Generally, in my stories, I love to write humorous stories with big twists and suspension to them (heck, some of the things I write I crack myself up). I love writing stories that have dramatic and intense scenes in them. I also love writing positive, upbeat stories with good things happening in them, because that's just the kind of person I am. Horror stories can be considered a part of that, I guess. Love stories and relationships aren't really my thing at all (don't ask why, but I have very different views from other people on what relationships and love is/are, and what it/they should be about). Serious, dark stories aren't too much my thing either. In my stories involving anime/cartoons, I must warn you, be prepared for the characters in my stories to be very out-of-character at most times. One of my pet peeves is sticking to plot points that have been set (but there are a few exceptions), and as I've said, I'm different from most people, so I like to make things different and unique when I write.
That is all for now. If you want to know more about me, who I am, have a question, or would like to just say hi, feel free to PM me. Looking forward to writing, as well as reading, some great, great stories. Please enjoy reading my stories, and have a great day!
Tim AKA Animefan57
P.S. Please be forewarned. Because of my disability, in my writing, you may see some grammar errors or some things I say or try to say may not make sense. Just thought you all should know.
