Author has written 8 stories for Lord of the Rings, Bible, His Dark Materials, and Harry Potter.
I'm a writer, linguist, hiker, game-player, and student of humanity. I'm a Jesus lover, abolitionist in the fight against human trafficking, and a gay rights activist. Tolkien is the reason I started writing. I'm nerdy, was homeschooled for a large part of my education, and ended up marrying an engineer (family conversations get interesting). I love to laugh.
Favorite authors: Tolkien, Robert Jordan, CS Lewis, Gerald Durrell, Suzanne Collins, JK Rowling, Robert Silverberg, Terry Pratchett, Ursula K LeGuin, John Green, Donald Miller, Eugene Peterson, and Tim Keller.
My stories never contain sex scenes. Some of my stories do contain intense motifs like genocide, torture, or mental illness.

I have decided, sadly, that this account is dead. I have moved on from fanfics now. I left the best ones up here for people to read, but there won't be any new posts. For my writing, see my website.
Thank you for the devoted comments and inspired criticisms. You have helped me to become a better writer, grown the bounds of my introspection, and encouraged me along the road.

I have enjoyed still getting your comments on my old stories these last 5 years. Since this account became inactive, I graduated college and work full-time now as a writer. Out of respect for your constant comments and encouragement, I finally completed How Elves Die. You'll see a drastic quality difference between the start and end to it! ;o)
If you're that kid with dreams of writing but wonders if you'll ever be taken seriously or be able to write stuff that will really get published: keep at it. Because you can do this if you really want to. Write every day. Read good books. And don't let others tell you what to do.
Writing can be a very uncertain, scary job. Keep at it no matter how many rejection slips you get. Remember all writers are insecure. Don't push away other writers out of pride or fear; they are your greatest source of encouragement!
