![]() Author has written 47 stories for Forgotten Realms, Death Note, White Wolf, Battlestar Galactica: 2003, Kuroshitsuji, and Yowamushi Pedal/弱虫ペダル. General Updates: 3/5 I am now very nicely into Biking Hell: be prepared for some Yowamushi Pedal stuff. -First few chapters of Stateside now posted My Kuroshitsuji stuff is on the back burner right now, but I have every intention of finishing both Bloody Red Doll and Playing Normal. Profile Age: 35 Location: New Hampshire, USA Style: Drama, angst, morbid humor, character abuse, a little slash thrown in for good measure. I have a sick interest in character background stories and plot-generated OC's. I do a lot of speculative AU stuff, so yes I am aware of canon, I just like to play with it. I tend to be long winded and over-analytical, for better or worse. I have a soft spot for LGBTQ themes as I personally know a little about them. I don't just use these for the sake of shipping, I delve into dynamics, relationships, issues with acceptance versus homophobia, etc. Have a question about Bloody Red Doll? I have a list of Frequently Asked Questions for that story, if you have a question or statement to make I encourage you to read this first. When you read my stuff please keep in mind: -I am a bit wordy. On one hand I try to watch that, on another it is a style choice of mine and it might not be for all people. -I am a bit older than a lot of fic writers, hence I think differently than a lot of teenagers or twenty-somethings. If you feel like something is going over your head, this might be a reason why...or I really do need to clean something up. -I don't always follow canon to the exact letter and a lot of times will insert headcanon details to round things out. It's my philosophy that there's nothing wrong with this. If a piece of information is there that hasn't been in any canon material or if something differs from it, please ask me first why it's there before correcting me. -Additionally, please don't ask me "When are you going to get to (canon/fanon detail here)" or say "But the (author/creator) said..." Odds are I know perfectly well what canon said or what popular fanon assumes canon said, I might be interpreting it differently. -I feel canon is always up for interpretation and can be picked apart and studied however one wants. If you think my different interpretation of a detail or my different play on a canon fact makes me a bad writer or even a horrible person, then ignore my writing. Simple as that. -I welcome constructive crit, but please keep it balanced. If you didn't like something, please say so politely and suggest how it could be changed. Adding "But I really did like the story" to a string of flames isn't balanced IMO. Though please keep in mind my above writing idiosyncrasies before you comment. And yes I know I'm far from perfect and am always learning For more info, check out my random babblings at |
