![]() Author has written 3 stories for Marvel, Anime X-overs, Harry Potter, Tensei Shitara Slime Datta Ken/転生したらスライムだった件, and Worm. So. If anyone ever reads this to find out more about me, I hope they'll at least read to the end. I don't write because I want to paywall my fics. They'll eventually be released on various sites for free as long as those I work with are okay with it. I don't write because I want to impress people with how "amazing" of an author I am. I don't find myself to be great author, but considering a lot of people demanded take commissions and get paid for my work, I do that now for 0.10 cad per word. Look up Aiko Akiyoshi's Carrd on Google if you want more details on how to contact me. That being said, I mostly write commissions now, so I'll basically just be posting whatever I'm paid to write if my commissioners want me to. Fun fact, all the death threats and people shitting on my stuff for the fun of it only made me decide keep going just spite them, and now I make upwards of 3k dollars minimum every month from this shit, if you include the gifts I receive for it. A lesson to all those who receive hate on this site is this: If people hate you on FFN, you're probably so much better than them an author that they're pissed off that you bother to try. If you write stories and you get told to go die on FFN, try Questionable Questing, and if people like your stuff, ask for money. It's well worth the effort. Though kinda got bullied into accepting money, tbh. I really didn't want to at first, but I definitely needed it. As a closing thought, I have one last thing to say: If you see a character that's "Out of Character" or a situation that's "Not canon" those are very deliberate. What I mean to say is I never write Canon stories based on the original work 1 to 1 because that's plagiarism at best, and just plain lazy. If you can't take creative liberties with a character you're writing, or even go as far as to completely change who they are as a person for the sake of the story, what are you even doing as a fanfiction author? At that point is just better to create original fiction so that it can all be canon. No offense, but people like that clearly don't understand the point of fanfiction, which is to create entirely new stories loosely based on the original, not 1 to 1 copies. I also dislike reading/watching of fics because they're all the same, and they all rehash canon for no reason other than because the author is too lazy to come up with a unique narrative that isn't just reacting to what was already there. If what I said offends you, just know that I'll never read your pm anyway, because I've learned that that's a very dumb idea on this site due to the amount of death threats I've seen from authors and readers alike, and I'll likely not respond to reviews either. If I do, I found your review to be something that actually needs to be addressed, most likely because you asked a really smart question, and I wanted to answer, so congrats I guess. |
