Name: Lionheart, not really, but screw it that's all you're getting Age: I'm old enough to drive Everyone has a goal, that's Fiction 101. Be it human, alien, or even a demonic, carnivorous, bisexual triceratops. That includes me the science fair project gone wrong. The one that seems like a good idea, looks like it should work, but actually goes horrifically wrong. That's to a twisted genetic combination of mylalgic encephalomyelitis (more commonly, but incorrectly known as Chronic Fatigue Syndrome) and rheumatoid arthritis. The M.E. came first and I missed most of the first half of the 14/15 school year because I was sick. Basically M.E. is a disease that is triggered by an unknown thing. It leaves me with little energy and chronic fatigue. Not the "Shit I stayed up late and now I'm super tired." fatigue, but the fatigue of (Here's a quiz for you) A. Running a Marathon with no prior training B. Recovering from a surgery C. Really great sex. For 3 days straight. D. All of the above combindedGo ahead guess. Got your answer great. Here's the answer. Turns out YOU WERE WRONG. The actual answer is... E. None of the above because those don't come close to describing it well enough. Except maybe C. three days is a long time...Back to the point. It's mostly better now, but when I first got and when I have relapses it is impossible to get out of bed. It takes too much energy to do that. Use the bathroom, sure if you don't mind wetting yourself, or a monumental effort to walk the twenty steps it takes to walk there. Also if you decide to walk to the bathroom add another day to hell on Earth, which is usually a week or longer. It sucks to say the least. Oh FYI friendships forget about that unless they are willing to talk once a month. I lost most of mine during that time. I'm back in school now and function fairly regularly. I can play soccer and go to school, and truthfully that means more than a lot of people might think. Okay next one rheumatoid arthritis. Try saying that three times fast. Again it is triggered by an unknown, but it however is treatable. I mean three shots a week suck, but the pills aren't that bad. Mostly just pain comes from the arthritis, but I almost never experience that anymore. Now you know my life story, wasn't that fun. So as (if you are still reading) I ramble often. I'll cut down on it in anything I post, or at least try to. Oh, yeah I started with that pro tip from Fiction 101. Another pro tip, I've never taken Fiction 101 at my Univeristy of Bullshitting Life Triumphantly. Hopefully you also realize that Universety of BLT isn't real and even if it was U of BLT shares an acronym with a sandwich. Everyone does have a goal though that part is true, be it big or small. Mine is to escape all the shit I deal with in life. That's why I'm here. To escape. "That concludes our episode of 'Teenage Angst'. Tune in next week folks to our special two-part episode to learn how unfair Brittany's parents are because they won't buy her a new car. Discover the horrors Chad must go through on spring break in Tobago when the sweater he wants to drape over his shoulders doesn't match his polo." Read Skuldugery Pleasent by Derek Landy. Just do it. I would write some stuff for it, but I don't think I could come even close to doing it justice. I mean look at these quotes, "There's no such thing as winning or losing. There is won and there is lost, there is victory and defeat. There are absolutes. Everything in between is still left to fight for. Serpine will only have won when there is no one left to stand against him. Until then there is only stuggle, because tides do what tides do- they turn. (Skulduggery Pleasent) "Doors are for people with no imagination." (Skullduggery Pleasent) "We're not retreating, just advancing in reverse." (Skullduggery Pleasent) "Are you going to shoot me?' Vengeous sneered. ' I wouldn't be surprised. What would a thing like you know about honor? Only a heathen would bring a gun to a sword fight.' 'And only a moron would bring a sword to a gunfight." (Skulduggery Pleasent & Baron Vengeous)I'll mostly write Percy Jackson and Harry Potter fics. Maybe a crossover or two. I guess that's it for now? When I post some stuff I'll add info about those, probably. |
