Author has written 1 story for V, 1984.

I am an emerging bi-lingual SFF writer, author of the first sci-fi novel in ChiShona, Muna Hacha Maive Nei? That would almost certainly make me a Zimbabwean, but I have lived in the UK for some 14 years now, having settled in the North East England town of Middlesbrough.

I have only joined this forum because I have just been watching V the series (1984), and have been inspired to tell part of the back story. V left a lasting impression on me when it was aired on Zimbabwean television, the series being shown in the late '80s and the miniseries a few years prior.

However, I cannot rule out that I will pen stories connected to other seminal TV shows, movies or books. As a child, I used to write such stories, and read them to my younger brother. So, I can say that I have done fan fiction before!

But first, I would like to read what others have written.

Set just before contact with the humans. Maringa, the bio-engineer behind the Visitor's masks, has to make last-minute adjustments to his creation when they learn that pigmentation is, for some reason, very important among humans. He now has to compromise one practicality for another, without losing the purpose of those masks.
