I am officially retiring from Fanfiction.

The reason for this is pretty simple. I have been writing some original stories recently. Believe it or not, I actually have one of them published on Amazon. (It's called The Formula, under the author name Jonathan Howes.)

When I was writing The Formula, I came to a sudden realization. In the ten minutes a day I had to write while on my break at work, I enjoyed it more than the nearly twenty years of writing for Fanfiction, combined.

This is not a slam on Fanfiction writers. That would be extremely hypocritical of me. It's just a fact for me. I enjoy writing MY stories more than anyone else's. I hope every writer and artist of every variety can feel that kind of joy and passion, regardless of what they are working on.

So, again, I am retiring as a writer here. I will, over the course of the next few months, release all the many unfinished works I have in my archives in my Fragmented simulations, but I'm not posting anything after that.

For those of you that enjoyed my work, thank you for your support. Those that didn't, I hope you found something that was as satisfying as my stories were not.
