![]() Author has written 21 stories for Phantom of the Opera, Pirates of the Caribbean, Naruto, Blood+, Spirited Away, Saiunkoku Monogatari, Bleach, and Doctor Who. Hello, fanfiction-reading world. I'm Myoubi. The 'homepage' link will take you to my rather silly deviantart, for what it's worth. Now. Onto my other interests and such. I've been writing for quite some time, to be completely honest. I always tried to stray from fanfiction, because I would always get the notion in my head that I would write for someone else's character, a character that other people really loved sometimes, and I would do them a HUGE injustice. I didn't want to feel like I was wrecking that image for someone else. However, as you can see, my hands got the best of me, and I did end up getting some things out, some that I'm more proud of than others. I do write things other than fanfiction, certainly, I just...have yet to get them out. _;; As far as fanfiction goes, I write about things that I'm into. ((Duh.)) If it's not a series or a character I feel attached to or familiar with, I won't try to write for them. In the case of my VASTLY incomplete Phantom fanfics, I lost the time that I had once had to write them. They may one day get finished. They may one day catch my attention, and make me realize that they will be forevermore UNfinished, as well. I was definitely infatuated with the Phantom of the Opera franchise at the time I wrote those, and I still love the story, but like anyone else, I hit crazes, and then I fade out, and move on to something else. After that I hit Pirates of the Caribbean. That, unfortunately, has thusly remained unfinished as well--however oddly, though, I managed to write an ENDING at one point. I doubt if I'll put that up before bridging the gap to it, unless I feel like it'll never get done, and if people shriek at me for closure, which somehow I doubt. After that, I went into the Naruto phase, and I call it a phase simply because it wasn't quite so strong as my Phantom obsession, and didn't last quite so long. At present, I haven't followed the series AT ALL for ages. Every now and again, one of my friends who still follows it diligently will give me an update or something, just to either vent or make me laugh, or spark conversation. Funnily enough, those fanfictions I wrote for Naruto are some that I actually enjoyed writing, and that I felt rather accomplished in putting them online. Coincidentally, they're my LEAST popular submissions on here. Disappointing? Yes. Disheartening? A bit. Going to make me stop writing? No. No, no, no. My most recent submission is one that apparently people have liked--I posted it ((before posting here)) on my guild on Gaiaonline; a Blood+ Guild. ((Links available through message and the like.)) People there liked it too, and a few of my friends IRL and online liked it, so I put it here. Currently, I'm still working on things to put up here so people won't think I'm dead, if they like my works. I might get a Trinity Blood fic up at some point, although chances are it'll be another Character Study like I've been prone to doing. One thing I would like to mention to people reading this profile, however, is this: When I read a story by an author on here about one specific series and I like their writing, I go to their profile, and look at what else they've written. I encourage this, people, because while I might not be quite so familiar with the other series', if I like the author enough, it might make me want to look their other interests up, or try and read other works of theirs. And lets face it, everyone loves attention. So if you like someone's stuff, don't overlook their profile, check them out. :3 Maybe one day I'll be all normal like almost everyone else on here and put up pairings I like and all that. _ |
