Author has written 1 story for Sherlock Holmes.

I'm afraid that I'm not a particularly interesting individual, or, at least, I do not see myself as such. In consequence, this biography will likely be quite brief. I do, however, believe that knowing certain facts about the author of a story makes any interpretation of the story more complete, and thus, I will oblige. Of course, I flatter myself that anyone would be interested enough in my work to bother even reading it, but just in case. Besides, who doesn't like talking about themselves?

I am a dedicated pagan, and have been for quite some time. Most of my stories are written within this context. Occasionally I'll put ridiculously obscure mythological references in my works, not to confuse people, simply because it amuses me. If you ever need clarification something, let me know, and I'd be more than happy to give it. I don't write anything to be purposefully mysterious, it really is for my own entertainment.

I am a college student, though I am nearing the end of my term. It's hard work, and it takes effort to graduate as early as I am. As such, writing does take a second spot to my studies. If my stories don't update as frequently as anyone would like, that would be why. As a perfectionist, I try to go over the chapters several times before writing, and sometimes, I just don't have the time: and if I don't have the time, I'd rather not put it up.

I am an English major. Sometimes, I wax a bit poetic for my own good. Let me know if I do. It happens, and I apologize in advance: sometimes, I don't notice that I do it. That's what reviews are for, correct?

I am opinionated, and very blunt. If I don't like what I read, I will say so. If I do like what I read, I will say so. If I don't review a story, it likely means that I ran out of time, or that I have to consolidate my thoughts. Occasionally, stories will just make me awkward, either because they are ridiculously poorly written, poorly researched, or touch upon a subject that bothers me. These won't get reviews either: either someone before me has taken care of the issue, or I simply don't feel like writing a review that is entirely negative. I might be blunt, but I do attempt to treat others as I would wish to be treated.

My favorite stories are those pertaining to Sherlock Holmes, Phantom of the Opera, Moulin Rouge, Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, and occasionally Harry Potter. Generally, I will read any fanfiction that I have read the original works of, if for no other reason than I enjoy finding a good piece of writing. I enjoy slash, depending on the quality of the writing, just as much as I enjoy non-slash romance. I don't particularly see a difference. People who dislike slash to the point where they will flame a story based solely upon its "slashiness" weird me out, frankly. I've never understood that.

That's about all I can think of that would be necessary to understand the context of my works. If there's something else you wish to know, simply ask. Most of the time, it's not a trouble.

Thanks for reading!

NOTE: I have recently changed my pen name, due to concerns about the security of my privacy. HumanAbstract would be me. :)
