Author has written 11 stories for Legend of Zelda, and Yu Yu Hakusho.
Welcome to my profile :)
Quote of the Week: "Don't worry. There will always be a door to the light." King Mickey from Kingdom Hearts
Listening to: "White Light" by Superfly, from Tales of Zestiria
And an update for those who care: Chapters 52-54 in Destiny have been revamped and a new announcement chapter where I explain some things has been added. With that, the revamp for Destiny is finally complete!
Now for a little about yours truly...
Alli-dunno Likes: writing, drawing, listening to music, playing video games, and penguins, primarily.
I'm a twenty-five year old who is trying to glide through life as unscathed as possible. My everyday life consists of boring real world stuff, pampering my cat (aka Baby Princess), taking vacations in my own little world, and trying to keep my really overactive imagination reigned in. Throw in some awesome friends, some hot chocolate, and an army of penguins that I am training to take over the planet in a storm of mechas and explosions, and you've got my life in a nutshell.
Favorite Anime: I can narrow down my favorite anime to a couple of select genres, like magical girl anime and shounen action series. My favorite anime of all time is Yuyu Hakusho, followed closely by Fullmetal Alchemist and Puella Magi Madoka Magica. I'm also fond of the Pretty Cure series. I also love Sailor Moon.
Favorite Game: My two favorite video game series are The Legend of Zelda and the Tales series. Though, specifically, my favorite games of all time are The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask, Skies of Arcadia, and Tales of Symphonia. I'm also fond of a variety of other games and genres, like Banjo-Kazooie, Persona 4, and the Professor Layton series, but it all depends on my mood. There is no point in listing all of games I'm in love with.
I'm also obsessed with Steven Universe right now.
Favorite Characters: If I narrowed down my favorite male characters in no particular order, they'd be Zelos Wilder (Tales of Symphonia), Dante (Devil May Cry, the original series), Kurama (Yuyu Hakusho), Yosuke Hanamura (Persona 4) and Edward Elric (Fullmetal Alchemist).
If I chose my favorite female characters in no particular order, I'd say Yuna (Final Fantasy X/X-2), Chloe Valens (Tales of Legendia), Natalia Luzu Kimlasca Lanvaldear (Tales of the Abyss), Serah Farron (Final Fantasy XIII), Pearl (Steven Universe) and Raine Sage (Tales of Symphonia).
A Destiny That Binds: A sort-of OoT novelization that mostly sticks to the plot while tossing in five new characters to assist Link in his adventure, JRPG style, with lots of sarcasm involved. The story has been completely revamped from the ground up, meaning that I went through and rewrote every single chapter from scratch to update the writing style and polish it. The story (and it's revamp) went through a bajillion hiatuses in the long time its been around. How happy I am with it usually depends on my self-esteem that day, but for the most part, I'm cool with it.
Fallen from Grace: A twisted little story told from Link's point of view, following Link in a chaotic journey after he's accused of murder. Probably the only story on this list I don't really have any problems with aside from grammatical issues I'd like to go back and fix one day. Complete.
Search: Set in the aftermath of an alternate timeline where Link abandoned his journey in OoT and was never heard from again. Told from Malon's point of view, it follows her as she attempts to find Link and put her life back together. Currently on an indefinite hiatus. Meaning, I'll probably never finish it.
Rose Petals in the Darkness: A shameless Kurama story where he gets wrapped up in a strange series of events after meeting a girl he is connected to through his dreams. The concept is interesting and I had fun upgrading Kaito to main character as Kurama's sidekick of sorts, but my stupid female OC is a total Mary-Sue that I created back in my early days of writing. I'm too ashamed to even go back and fix the story because of it. So, uh...this story is dead.
I have a slew of Zelda-based oneshots, too:
Twelve- Focuses on the thoughts and feelings of the cast of side characters in Majora's Mask in the final hours before the moon falls.
A Need for Normality- Centers on Link and his feelings towards Malon and the sacrifices that come with being the Hero of Time.
More Than A Part Time Job- A funny little story where Link works as a ranch hand for Malon and chaos ensues.
My Snowy Valentine- It's snowing, Link is forgetful, and Malon does stupid things while thinking about romance novels.
Saying Goodbye- Link says goodbye to Malon before he leaves for his Majora's Mask adventure.
If I Could Give You Tomorrow- Anju and Kafei in the final night before the moon falls in Majora's Mask.
Behind This Mask- A look at the dark things Malon is hiding behind her cheerful exterior.
(THIS PROFILE WILL SELF TERMINATE. THAT MEANS YOU WILL EXPLODE. BUT DON'T WORRY. BAND AIDS FIX EVERYTHING.)
