Author has written 12 stories for Pokémon, Kannazuki no Miko, Mai HiME, Kyoshiro to Towa no Sora, and Touhou Project. 3.16.09 Riding the Touhou wave and not likely to get off any time soon. Pairings (because all the cool kids are doing it~) (Mai HiME/Otome) Shizuru/Natsuki- despite my growing annoyance with rabid Shizuru fans, these two have managed to captivate me for the better part of three years. Aoi/Chie- they just seem to fit together. (Kannazuki no Miko) Himeko/Chikane- Despite the plot, these two shone (mecha be damned). (Madlax) Limelda/Madlax- again, despite the plot, there was something there. I can really see it working if you ignore the characterisation meltdown Limelda has for the last 4th of the series. (this was not helped by the dramatic piano music) (Touhou) Remilia/Sakuya- I can see these two working wonderfully because there's...a balance there. Like Sakuya would listen to Remi but add in her own quirks through the loopholes, and Remi would secretly enjoy that but pretend to be annoyed- they just seem to share something. This was helped along by an excellent doujin of Water Cushion's~ Marisa/Reimu-or-Alice-or-Patchouli- they all work for different reasons, and while I'll admit I prefer the first two they've all grown on me. (polygamy is the answer~) Kaguya/Eirin- Water Cushion's doujins. (hums) That's really all that needs to be said, since they cemented it for me. Keine/Mokou- I think Keine would be a stabilizing presence in Mokou's life, and the two can be incredibly sweet together. Yuyuko/Yukari- Yukari would make a lot of allowances for Yuyuko, and sort of try a bit harder for her...if I think about it, it's just cute. Those are the pairings that make my eyes light up, though there are others I enjoy. A line or two doesn't do them justice, but I'm not making my profile page a badly done essay. Anyway, if anything I've written catches your fancy I'll be glad. Story Status- Other The Night the Moon Fell- Kannazuki no Miko (Complete). I have a side-story plot bunny hopping merrily through my brain, but it doesn't want to get caught. This was something I wrote because someone said I should try my hand at KnM fics. I'm pretty happy with it, though I suppose it could do with some tweaking. A lot of tweaking. Why?- Pokemon (Complete) Needs editing badly. Written because of a good deal of teenage angst...it's like the thing you know you should delete but can't because it's so bad you've grown attached despite yourself. Mai HiME For Whom the Wind Blows (In Progress) (AU) This is my love. (hums) I'm finishing this one if it kills me, and it will be a novel. So there. That aside, it's also proving to be incredibly hard to tie together. Somehow it turned into a bronco... To be completely honest, I'm not quite sure how it's going to end. There are a few different ways it could go, so we'll see what happens when we get there. Status: Chapter 17 is 3/4ths of the way done (finally), folks. (pirates are fun~) Broken Petals (Complete) -sigh- It comes off as forced. It's also the shortest thing I'm ever going to write. Ah well. I had a plot bunny, and I caught it. Then it spontaneaously combusted. Don't expect quality. I'm surprised anyone liked it at all. Shattered Glass- (Complete) I started it to make For Whom the Wind Blows easier to write, but it became a story of its own. One that I got caught up in, and refused to let go until I was happy with it. It could be better, but it's not something I'll worry about overmuch. Chapter 1 was better than chapter 2, chapter 3 was fun for me just because I think I made it believeable, and the bonus was just me having the time of my life. A story of how I thought things might progress after the Carnival, and what it would take to put some of the pieces back together. Some Sicknessess Are Hard To Prevent (On hiatus) Dear Dustbunnies, why did I start this before finishing my other one? Alright, so that would have taken a good long while, but still. The original idea wasn't mine, but Kugia's. She drew up an outline, I wrote it. It's lighthearted, which is a nice difference from what my other one's soon to become. Still, it's something more to have to work on. Bad Karma (One-shot) It was written as a request, and I had way too much fun with it. Kudos to Kryssa's Flute for the idea. Akira's the main focus, but there's plenty of other characters to keep you amused. Elegance Is Overrated (One-shot) Written as a birthday present from a prompt I grabbed the second I heard it. I think it turned out fairly well. In which Natsuki tries her best to get Shizuru a present, and the end result turns out to be what neither of them quite expected. Fun With Whipped Cream (One-shot) Because I couldn't resist. Shizuru has amazing logic, Natsuki can't say no. Fragile (Complete- for now) (One-shot) Because the idea wouldn't let go of me. Is it a bad thing that I'm happy with it? To coin a phrase, avoid if you want fluff. It was an idea I had...what if something so terrible happened that Shizuru went mad? What if Natsuki realised she loved her after the fact? It doesn't have much plot to it, but I am happy with the way it turned out. |
