UnluckyAmulet A. 22-years-old. :Just the facts: I write a lot of oneshots, purely because I like them and because my stories usually end up not being updated for inhumane periods of time. I actually envy authors who have stories and can stick to them, rather then making an army of oneshots. I change my mind about what I'm going to write and what pairings I like, which probably is frustrating for everyone. I have this tendency to get irritated with popular pairings, which is why I so enjoy reading and writing crack. I'll read most crackpairings as long as they are written WELL. I will delete oneshots that don't get any reviews. That's just the way I roll. (Unless I really like said story.) I almost always write more then one story for each particular fandom I start to write under. And I like authors who do the same. Occassionally I will delete old oneshots I don't like anymore and don't want to edit. I also do the same with stories, because I don't like to keep people waiting for something that won't arrive. Sorry. But this is a hobby, not a signed contract. I like Mary Sue parodies. I generally don't like Anti Mary-Sue fics much, though. I think they're pretentious. I hate it when people whine at me to update one of my stories in an entirely different one. Fair enough if it's in the neglected story, but my newer ones deserve to stand on their own. If anything, it just makes me not want to update MORE. That said, putting a story in your favourites (especially one without any reviews yet) and not commenting on it is probably the most annoying thing ever. I can understand if it's super-long and you just want to make sure you can read it later (I have a few fics I keep meaning to sit down and read), but otherwise it's like, "Meh, a fave." I do requestfics, but I'd prefer it if you stick to fandoms I actually know of. I hereby pledge: From now on, I am going to try and review ALL the stories on my favourites list. It may take a while (since some of them are frickin' LONG!) but I am going to try and deliver reviews to all of them. It's only fair that I say WHY it's on my favourite list in the first place, right? (Karma!) Also: Dear Anonymous Person Who Reviewed "Liquid Bloom": I don't know who you are, but if you're reading this, thank you. You really made me smile. :) Most Romantic Anime Moment:Urusei Yatsuda, episode 44. NOBODY WHO WATCHED THAT EPISODE DIDN'T GO ALL SQUISHY AT THAT ENDING. NOBODY. Current Obsessions: Hetalia, Sherlock, Fire Emblem: Awakening, EEnE, DHMIS, and I'm hesitantly dipping a toe in the GoT fandom. |
