Announcements (and other random things):
02/21/2014: It's official. I am now retired from fanfiction.net as a writer. I have not produced any stories since 2009, and I want to focus on my pursuit to become a professional photographer, and the time needed to promote and push forward.
Here is a link to my photography blog, which includes some of my photos and articles about photography. Yes, I will continue to write in a different format.
Thank you everyone, and keep writing!
09/05/2012: It's been a few years since I've been on here. Reorganizing my life has definitely been interesting. On the bad side, I lost all my information concerning my previous stories, so they are considered discontinued.
05/09/2009: After dealing with S&S, I have since update The Legend Within: Rise of a Champion, and Shinigami Passage. More updates coming.
04/08/2009: I announce the discontinuation of Second Existence: Dual Objectives, which after a harsh self-assessment, did not live up to my expectations for the most part. (It did not meet two of my own twelve basic requirements.) In it's place, I announce the first chapter of Shinigami Passage, another attempt at a Naruto/Bleach crossover, with a different realm, while keeping what made SE good in the eyes of many readers.
03/24/2009: I found out that the New York Daily News quoted me in an article about an online forum during the 2008 presidential election, speaking about Republican Vice Presidential candidate Sarah Palin. (Although she is a joke now to most, at that time, I was willing to hear her out.)

Kisoku Seishin means "Noble Spirit" in Japanese. Noble Spirit is my initial handle since my junior year at New York University. My real name is George Reid.
As you can guess from the Japanese influence in my pen name, my interest in fanfiction lie mostly in anime and gaming sections. However, if prompted by a good story, I'll visit other sections to read.
Other things about me, you can find out through the Facebook Link, If you want to know more about me, I'll happily reply. I have one rule however. If you approach me with respect, I'll give it you. If you approach me with malice, don't be surprised with a bad response or if there is a lack of one.
I am a fair and honest reviewer. That said, I only care about three aspects:
1) Creativeness. (Don't bore the reader with something predictable or rehashed.)
2) Presentation. (This includes technical aspects such as spelling and grammar, but also other important aspects, such as maintaining a balance between dialogue, narration, and description. If the story looks like a mess, no one will read it)
3) Suspension of Disbelief. (Don't break it. For example, a character receiving the death penalty for a brawl fails if no one dies in the brawl, or if the universe in question has harsh punishments.)
If your writing is good, I will say as such and likely add it to my story alert (or my favorites if I revere it). If your writing needs improvement, I will also state as such. Even experienced writers can improve. If your writing is atrocious, I will state my reasons without flaming you or being rude, usually with the suggestion of a beta reader.
