Ships I like: Lily/James (duh)
Harry/Ginny (I love Harry/Ginny fics. I don't read them as often as I'd like though. Yes, I was a H/G fan before HBP.)
Ships I don't like: Harry/Hermione (sorry, but it's definitely Ron/Hermione although I don't want to read about them either)
Ginny/Draco (I'm a huge Harry/Ginny fan and Ginny with Malfoy makes me sick)
Hermione/Snape (Ok, eww.)
Anything slash (Makes me cringe)
~I don't know what possessed me to write fan fiction~
My Stories: Ooh...I'm getting quite a collection here. How exciting!
Rendezvous by the Lake: Complete. Basically a series of one-shots, but the chapters sort of go together to form a story of some kind. Each chapter focuses on a rendezvous between Lily and James by the lake at Hogwarts. There is one chapter for each year they are at school, which would make the story seven chapters long. Luckily, the HBP did not do anything to it. Of course, it would have had to specifically say "Lily and James were never once by the lake at the same time" to make any difference. It was written pre-HBP in case you notice anything that doesn't fit. Thanks to all of my readers and reviewers. I'm glad people actually liked it. Also on Portkey.org and Unknowableroom.org.
Meant to be Kissed: Complete. A slightly AU one-shot. It's about how Lily and James got together through yet another prank of the Marauders', this time directed towards James. It's AU because Lily and James don't have that love/hate relationship we all know and love, and because James doesn't ask Lily out every chance he gets. Basically I sucked all the fun out of the Lily and James story we know to be true and posted it here. No, it sounds boring but it's really not. I promise. Give it a try and see. Also on Portkey.
Crash and Burn: Complete. One-shot. Because James Potter is such a good friend, he gives his best friend three chances to get Lily Evans to see him for who he really is. Good idea? Probably not. Sirius Black looks back on his failed attempts to help his best friend get the girl of his dreams. I am rather unhappy with this story, but I posted it to see what kind of comments I get from it. It doesn't really have the happy ending most Lily and James readers look for, but there is plenty of Sirius being Sirius. So if you are a Padfoot fan, you might enjoy this story a little more. Also on Portkey.
Mugglephobia: Complete. My second multi-chapter fic. Atsix chapters long, I know it's a rather short story, but I'm working on a longer one so be patient. I think the title speaks for itself, but I feel like rambling anyway. It's supposed to be a humor piece about Sirius's fear of Muggles, but I've made it a little more L/J oriented than originally intended (old habits are hard to break). So, there is a bit of L/J in later chapters. James sends Sirius to stay with Lily's Muggle family where chaos erupts and Sirius finds out just how afraid of non-magic folk he really is. It's not my favorite story (although definitely not my least favorite), but I liked the idea and had to do something with it. It's definitely different, so give it a chance and maybe you'll like it. Also on Portkey.
A Lily and James Christmas: Complete. One-shot. This is a short, fluffy Lily and James story. It was written in a hurry at two o'clock in the morning on Christmas Eve without the help of a beta reader in an attempt to get some kind of Christmas story posted before Christmas. I may eventually get around to editing it, and if I do I will probably change a few minor details in the story itself as well as the title (maybe). Lily's birthday is on Christmas Eve, but since she doesn't talk about it, nobody knows. Then James finds out and is determined to do something special. It's pure fluff. Enjoy. Also on Portkey.
Loose Tooth: Complete. One-shot. This is different from my usual stories since it's not L/J or even Marauders era. It's about Ginny before Hogwarts, and it shows the Weasley family and their attachment to their only sister. I wrote it because I like the Weasleys. They're like the Brady Bunch only slightly less happy and with magical abilities. This story is really a lot of nonsense, and I don't particularly care for it, but I'm posting it anyway because I'm a sharing kind of person. It's about Ginny's first loose tooth and how her brothers all want to help her pull it out. Not on Portkey because it doesn't fit into any of the categories. Only on Fanfiction.
Illumination: Complete. It's quite dark and sad, but I like it because it's different from what I usually write. It describes Lily and James's last days alive. After all of the revising this story went through, I hope people actually read it. I was very unhappy with it for the longest time, but after nearly rewriting it three times and a LOT of help, it's finally grown on me, although I'm kind of tired of it now. Also on Portkey.
Lessons in Time Management: Complete. One-shot. Just a little fluffy nonsense to make your day a little brighter. I had to post it because I felt bad after not writing for over a year. It's nothing special or impressive, but hopefully someone will read it. Also on Portkey.
I am working on several other stories, and hopefully I'll have even more after that. Visit my live journal to see a list of stories that I am considering taking on and leave your comments and suggestions. They would be most appreciated.
I really want to write a long fic, but I'm afraid that I just don't have the stamina. I'll get an idea and follow it through only to discover that it won't be as long as I had originally anticipated. Some day I'll get a really good idea. Just wait.
In the past I had said that I wanted to try a Harry/Ginny fic, but now I'm not so sure. DH pretty much killed that desire. Don't get me wrong, I've been a H/G supporter since CoS, but that epilogue was just a little too much for me. I'm happy for the two, but it was just so sickeningly sweet that I wouldn't know what to do with a story of my own. I think I'll just stick with my Marauders Era stuff, thank you very much.
I have a live journal. You can visit me there and read my updates and previews of future stories. Feel free to leave a comment, suggestion, review, request, or just pop in to say hello. It really doesn't matter. I'd be delighted to hear from anyone. Look up for the link (in case it doesn't work, my username is _finding_emo_00). Please drop by and leave a message.
Thanks for reading. I'd greatly appreciate it if you would kindly read and leave a review. Thanks!
