Author has written 2 stories for A song of Ice and Fire, and Game of Thrones.
Hi, I'm Veronica. I write almost exclusively original with intent-to-publish works, but lately I've been both a bit writer's blocked on my original stuff as well as absolutely obsessed over Sansa/Tyrion. With that, I joined to upload a fic of my take on Sansa & Tyrion's reunion and ASOIAF conclusion theories called Winter's Thaw. Lots of angst, lots of romance, a surprising number of fluffy moments, both in-story and as flashbacks; trying to keep it canon accurate as best I can. I will try to update regularly and keep a few chapters in reserve at all times just in case I get stumped for a bit. I'll probably post once a week, on Thronesdays a.k.a. Sundays.
Progress on Winter's Thaw:
5/24/16: The first four chapters are written, but I'm still editing 2-4. I'll probably post one chapter a week, maybe two if I get well ahead. Not going to lie, I'm kind of hoping I don't have to get into specifics with the White Walkers & Bran in my story until s6 is finished airing in a bit over a month so that I can be a bit more canon accurate as they reveal more this season, but I don't have anything planned to address those topics until chapter 11-12 or so, so that shouldn't hold me up on posting. I honestly have no clue how long this is going to be. Fleshing out my outline, I'm spending a lot more time in the North than anticipated before heading South at the end of Winter and fucking up the rest of Westeros, and with the length of my chapters, who knows?! All I can promise is that I'll keep it interesting. ;-)
6/11/16: I now have eight chapters (and 40k words) written and the outline for most of the full fic. Not gonna lie, it's looking like this will be quite the angsty doozy, so apologies for that. *grins* Anyway, if my writing pace keeps up, I may start posting two chapters per week after the last episode of s6. No promises, but I seem to be on a roll, and if I can stockpile a few more chapters away before that in three weeks, I should be able to commit to that. Maybe. Hopefully. (See, this is why I could never join the Night's Watch. a) celibacy b) celibacy c) commitment. I'm not great at that.) Anyway, I'm absolutely loving all of the reviews, so thanks so much for that! I'm happy you guys are enjoying this as much as I am. Next chapter will be up on Sunday (tomorrow). See you then!
