There's not enough time in the day for me to explain my love for this movie. Apart from my husband and child, it's the love of my life! Yes I'm a geek, but this movie changed my life, it brought me happiness and I wouldn't be the person I am today without, sincerely. Out of the actors in Stand By Me, I have met one, I met Corey Feldman back in '11 at London Film and Comic Con, he signed a picture and I had my photo taken with him, he was really nice and friendly :D
And the big one, Kiefer Sutherland was standing six feet in front of me! He was at the premier to Monsters vs Aliens in London, I didn't meet him but he was right there in front of me, gah! It was amazing.
Also Bradley Gregg (Eyeball) answered to a message I sent him on MySpace years ago :D and Jason Oliver (Vince) has subscribed to me on YouTube! That felt amazing knowing Vince watches my SBM videos!
I want to thank anyone who reads my stories and enjoys them and the people who review my stories put them on alerts/favs I really appreciate it, without you I would have probably deleted my account (and regretted it badly) it means alot to me so thank you! *2014* I'm back! Woop, currently finishing my stories, hoping to complete them soon, also have four new stories up. P.S I love reviews ;)
The 'Official' Series
Okay, so these are probably the stories that are closest too my heart, I started the original two when I was sixteen years old back in '06 and they've stayed with me during this entire time, I was always getting ideas and plots throughout the years and decided to do a prequel and a spin-off, the second sequel was always in the works anyway I just never got time to finish Unofficial Hatred but alas it is complete!.
If you've read the stories and liked them - thank you - I'm not the best writer in the world and I'm sure I've messed up on grammar and spelling, though I do re-read and if I catch something I do tend to go back and fix it straight away, I'm telling you Doc Manager and Export are my foes! So if anyone wants to be a beta for these stories feel free to PM me, I always want to improve.
So here's the list in order:
Nonofficial Love - Complete - The start of it all, takes place during the period of the movie and after, Rebecca realising that she does love Ace and she is willing to accept the fact that he is who he is and she isn't going to get the three magic words from him.
Unofficial Hatred - Complete - Takes place around half a year the first story finishes, follows Ace and Rebecca's fiery relationship, filled with drama and plenty of plot twists, this is my favourite out of the series and I really like the pace of it, Rebecca realises in the end that she needs a lot more from Ace then what he gives. Some people might think I go to fast with plots and stuff but my writing style is kind of like a movie and since this is based from a movie I kinda think it fits, I don't really do a lot of paragraphs of description, it's a weakness of mine but I think *yes I'm blowing my own trumpet* that I'm not too bad with dialogue and humour stuff.
My Baby Shot Me Down - Complete - The prequel to both of the first stories, I'm putting it in this order because a lot of the stuff that is mentioned in Unofficial Hatred features in this and it clears it up, this one is basically back story and has bits of Ace's past and in this he realises he loves her but he is still so stubborn to actually tell her that.
Who Wrote The Book of Love? - In-Progress - This is sort of the prequel to Officially Tied, it will feature things that were mentioned in OT but never happened in the first three stories, there will be flashbacks of Ace's childhood, we find out what actually went down with his mother and brother, Rebecca will not feature in this story and if she does it will just be a reference, this story also focuses on the other cobras and what happens to them, you get to know Rebecca's friends - Cassie and Tess - a little bit more and we follow Ace as he grows up and it seems like he has a lot of plans for the future!
Officially Tied - In-Progress - This will be the final story of the series *cries, will Ace finally let go of his unwillingness of telling people how he feels, is he capable of telling the person he loves, he loves them? And who does he love? Will Rebecca calm down and enjoy her life. This was originally not going to be very long, but I kinda have ideas and I want to go off with a bang (literally or not, you'll have to wait to find out.)
So there you go. I hope you like my portrayal of Mr. Ace Merrill, I've trued my best to keep him in character and I hope he isn't ooc. I also hope you like my OC. Rebecca Chambers and I hope she's not a Mary-Sue, I've made her far from perfect, she's moody, stubborn and a lot of work, though she is my favourite out of all my oc's I doubt I would like her very much in real life.
I also have a photobucket account which has pictures of who I think the cast of these stories are: 'Official' photos
Other SBM Stories
My Immortal - Completed - one-shot, finito! This is a one-shot in Gordie's pov on Chris' death, inspired by the same titled song by Evanescence.
King of Castle Rock - Completed - A supernatural Ace Merrill fanfiction, features no romance, just Ace and his incapable feelings of remorse and lack of conscience, his life spirals out of control and takes a turn for the worse.
Lay Me To Sleep -Complete - One-shot about Chris Chambers and one mistake, I do have ideas for it to carry on but I'm leaving it as it is for now.
Before He Cheats - Complete - One-Shot about a girl who Ace Merrill cheats on and she decides to take revenge.
Smokestack Lightning - In-Progress/Hold - Just a humour filled body swap story Chris-Ace/Ace-Chris, will be completed soon but focusing on ohter fics for now.
Darkness on the Edge of Town - In-Progress/Hold - This is a Teddy/OC fic, in the OC's narrative as if she's talking to you, putting this in the back of my head until all my other stories are completed because I want to really focus on this.
Even Angels Have Their Wicked Schemes - Rated M - Hold - SLASH - Ace/Eyeball, it's a pairing that sounds too hot to resist and I wanted to write something different and came up with this.
Town Hoods Do Have More Fun - In-Progress - Ace and Eyeball light hearted fun, they go on a road-trip all sorts of fun a chaos ensures but they soon realise there's nothing more important then friendship.
The Way You Lie - Rated M - Hold - I want to explore a deep dark Ace Merrill, one where he is mean and violent.
Never Off Dead - Hold - Chris/OC, Dark humor.
Somebody Save Me - In-Progress/Hold - The Lost Boys - I really love writing this story, unfortunatly I'm kinda stuck and all ideas that come to my head are SBM ones, but fear not I'm not a quiter so I will carry on with this, I have ideas it's just getting them on the computer that's the hard part, don't give up on me!
I have a vote going on in my profile, it's at the top, so vote :D
*Walks off with ace and eyeball*

The most important things are the hardest things to say. They are the things you get ashamed of, because words diminish them--words shrink things that seemed limitless when they were In your head to no more than living size when they're brought out. But it's more than that, isn't it? The most important things lie too close to wherever your secret heart is buried, like landmarks to a treasure your enemies would love to steal away. And you may make revelations that cost you dearly only to have people look at you in a funny way, not understanding what you've said at all, or why you thought it was so important that you almost cried while you were saying it. That's the worst, I think. When the secret stays locked within not for want of a teller but for want of an understanding ear. - The Body - Stephen King
I never had any friends later on like the ones I had when I was twelve. Jesus, does anyone?
