Hello, my name is Rachelle.

I am alive. It has been four years since I did anything on this site but here we are. I joined this community back in 2005, twenty years ago!!!! Can you believe it is 2025?

Things do come and go, and we change and grow. I can’t say that I will be very active on here in the future. I have adopted a habit of writing a whole story and then just letting it sit in my drafts for like two years and then maybe I’ll post it. OR I am writing Fiction/Historical Romance, and that doesn’t belong here.

I can tell you for sure that If Things Were Different will never be finished, in fact it might come off this page but for now I am leaving it up. I’m just really over the whole HP drama, and I can’t be bothered anymore to think positively of characters written by such a horrible person. Maybe some day, down the road, I will find a way to remove HP from it and write it as its own story, but for now I actually hate it and I have other characters whom I love living rent free in my head.

I am writing things that are not fan fiction, or fan fiction adjacent, kind of, and again I don’t know that they belong here.

I have been writing and I feel it is right to let you know that The Brothers Winchester is finished. I was struggling with a series of historical romances that I have started and I just thought one day, about two weeks ago, that I should take a break and reread the Brothers. And then all of a sudden I had written the ending and just had to fill in the pieces between. I started it in 2016. I just finished it in March of 2025. I have now posted the whole thing, yes there are fewer chapters than before, but they are much longer. It had been heavily edited so if you jump to the end, I would suggest you go back to the top and start again.

I think I will post a fan fiction adjacent story in the coming days. A couple of years ago I decided that I kind of hated how problematic Werewolf/Lycanthrope stories are, so I wrote one in a way that I found more empowering. It happens in the Supernatural universe but Sam and Dean are not the main characters. So is it fan fiction? I don’t know anymore…

Anyway, on the me side of things, I have a career job finally. I work at a university. I am working on my mental health. I am writing for me now, rather than other, or to gain any kind of feedback. I’ve completely stopped watching TV so I am not even actively pursuing fandoms, unless you count Bridgeton but the books not the series. I watch the first two and then stopped because I didn’t get the storm scene from the book with Anthony and Kate under the desk. So yeah I will live and die by the books.

I’ve turned off the private messaging for now. If I was looking for an artist to illustrate my works, I’d go looking for someone. I’m not interested in commissioning anything at this time.
