Author has written 1 story for Naruto.
time for an update!!! yay!! >:D I'll add more to this as I go along.
Name: internet commandment #1, trust not the internets
other superfluous details: I am your typical overweight, white male with a moderate otaku syndrome. It is my wish in life to become an author of some renown, like Jim Butcher, J.R.R. Tolkien, and various others. are my aspirations too high? possibly. but I'll try anyways. but enough about me.
My writing in General: as a writer I like to try and do things that nobody has really done before, or at least to try do something justice thats been done so many times that its like beating an already beaten dead horse, like time travel and Naru/Hina.
Hidden in the Tides: as stated in the first chapter, this was not my original idea, it originally came from Tellemicus Sundance but he let me have artistic license with it since I took it off his mind. he even takes time away to beta it for me and helps me with ideas. isn't he awesome? >:P for those of you who haven't read it yet, it is a time travel fic featuring a method of travel I haven't seen in any other time travel fic. that method is my idea, and no I will not speak of it until it is fully revealed in the story. and thats still a ways away.
What I like to see in other works: originality. that so hard to come by when you write in a fandom with literally 200k or more stories in it. it being well written too is also a must for me. grammar, punctuation, proper sentence structure, all that jazz. and finally, probably the biggest thing, proper characterization and development. I can deal with small minor changes to a character but if its just too OOC for me then I will stop reading and look for something else.
What I hate to see from other works: well, the dreaded high school for one, crossovers where one of the characters from a universe is so fundamentally different from the canon that its a totally different person with the same name essentially. I cant exactly say that I hate yaoi because I avoid it like the plague,
My Favorite Anime/manga:
Fullmetal Alchemist (I prefer FMA: Brotherhood to the one that came out a while ago, Brotherhood is not quite as depressing as the first one)
Hellsing (AKA Hellsing Ultimate)
Neon Genesis Evangelion (the rebuilds are orgasmic)
and a few more that are currently escaping my mind...
I'll sign off here saying that if you are an author and one of your stories are in either my favorites section or alerts section I would like to let you know that I periodically raid your favorite stories and that I thank you for the contribution to my own library. (and I am honored to have you reading my profile :D )
