I've been dreadfully busy in my real life lately--strangely, the higher-ups at work thought I was "responsible" and "reliable" or some shit like that and made me a manager? I'm not sure what they were thinking. So a lot of my focus has been on my job and not enough on writing. But never fear, I am still alive!
If you leave me a review, please don't be offended if I don't respond through PM! Every review I get is deeply heart-warming and I appreciate all of them, anonymous or not. I don't always respond because I'm not sure how to put my gratitude into words without coming off repetitive. But I want to do my best at making sure all of you feel as appreciated by me as I do by you.
As to the status of the fics in question...
"A Matter of Timing" has finally been published! I've been working on this story for years now, and it's gone through a lot of changes in both plot and overall quality, but here it is, at last, more or less ready for public consumption. My initial plan was to finish the damn thing before posting even the first chapter but if I continued with that, I believe I'd lose my motivation. Chapter publications will, unfortunately, be sporadic and possibly infrequent, so please check my tumblr for updates as well as spoilers/teasers for upcoming chapters. I'm very excited to share this story with you because it is my baby and possibly the most favorite thing I have ever written for fanfiction in any fandom. Please excuse the shitty cover art.
I've been editing the first two chapters of "Five" so that when I post the third chapter (finally jeeeez) the writing style and quality will be alike. Please continue to be patient with me, I'm very sincere about finishing this story because I care for it so much, it's really important to me.
"It Always Starts in Cokeworth" has a sequel in "And the Bitterness of Victory" found below. Someday I will get around to editing "Cokeworth" because it's all very slapdash and lacking a decent proofread, since it was an experiment to begin with. Again, please excuse the shitty cover art.
I hate to say it but "Adventures in Dating" will probably never be updated. I don't want to use absolutes but I was lukewarm about the story at best when I was initially writing it, and now I feel hardly anything at all. If my apathy continues I'll probably delete it for the new year (2015) so please be advised!
"I'm not going back to New York" will eventually be updated, since I have slowly been making progress on chapter 8. I don't forsee myself writing as much of the story as I'd initially envisioned but I do want to give a sense of closure to this story, and this pairing.
