Author has written 24 stories for Lord of the Rings. Hi everyone, Éomer became a great king, and being young when he succeeded Théoden he reigned for sixty-five years, longer than all their kings before him save Aldor the Old. In the War of the Ring he made the friendship of King Elessar, and of Imrahil of Dol Amroth; and he rode often to Gondor. In the last year of the Third Age he wedded Lothíriel, daughter of Imrahil. Their son Elfwine the Fair ruled after him. The above words inspired me to start writing. Tolkien told us no more about Imrahil’s daughter other than her name. How could one resist weaving story after story around the marriage of the King of Rohan and the Princess of Dol Amroth. Was it a love match, or was it arranged to promote the friendship between two countries? We shall never know but it has been such fun imagining the different scenarios that might have led to their union. There are a few tales written about other characters but Éomer and Lothíriel make up the bulk of my work. I just hope you enjoy reading as much as I have enjoyed writing these stories. Most of the time I have woven my tales around the canon, taking care to keep the characters true. But there are a few times where I have strayed from this path for the sake of amusing my readers. I have written short stories, longer ones, and even an epic. If you do feel like tackling my Tide of Destiny series try and read the four tales in order. LBJ |
