After many, MANY years on this site, I'm finally starting to post stories with some small amount of frequency.
My in-progress fics below are truly sincerely in-progress; though there may be a while between updates, I AM working on them. If they get abandoned, I'll let you know. Truly. For Love or Duty is just a chapter away from completion, but its actual fate is to be heavily revised and tossed into a single chapter, which will be marked 'complete' but which I intend to be the prologue for a more ambitious AU. That AU, however, is very far in the future; I'm focusing on the fics that are already in progress. Complete longfics are good and I intend to produce some.
The stories below are incubating, and the list is hardly complete. But don't expect anything other than oneshots to get posted until at least one of my other fics is marked complete. If you want to see me chatter about story ideas, the place to go is my main tumblr. I chatter about story ideas. I chatter about story ideas a LOT.
Stories in development as of July 2014 (listed in the order they're most likely to appear)
Oneshots: In various stages of completion, likely to show up on AO3 before they do here.
Joint Operations: A Suzumiya Haruhi divergence AU where stuff happens and the SOS-brigade ends up in a big bisexual poly relationship. And then aliens or something. Chapter one is up on my art tumblr, but it'll be a while before more gets written.
The Legacy Children: Massive Tales of Symphonia AU fic is presently in its planning/outlining stages. Kratos is not separated from Lloyd on the cliffs outside of Iselia, and the changes ripple out from there. Features Tethe'alla!Lloyd; is a blatantly self-indulgent fix-fic; there will be so much shipping.
Knights in Shining Armor: A Heroes divergence AU. A Peter/Claire slow-burn romance, but it's intended, more importantly, to fill plotholes, rearrange storylines, and smooth out character arcs. For example: season 2 was chopped in half by the writer's strike. Fixing that. And wrangling all the comic book logic into a somewhat coherent set of mechanics. And so forth.
The Tomboy Who Lived: Harry Potter, cowrite with AzuraRey. What if Harry had been born a girl? It's been done before, but gender has a more serious impact on identity and development than one might realize. To start it might change one's choice in godparents... Warnings: is probably dead.
Silver Threads: Harry Potter also, collab with Tainted Kattitina. What would happen if you stuffed a whole flock of fanfiction cliches into one story -- and then proceeded to treat it seriously? Cheesy, hammy, full of drama, AU, crack pairings, rule 63 and... Fire Emblem? Warnings: Some of the issues that gender and presentation shenanigans inevitably entail, total and utter rejection of canon, and wings. Also probably dead.
Meanwhile, I try to keep a fairly well-curated favorites list. And I occasionally make fic recs on my tumblr. So enjoy that.
