![]() Author has written 23 stories for Percy Jackson and the Olympians, Harry Potter, One Piece, Naruto, NCIS, Star Wars, and Hawaii Five-0. Question: Am I the only one having problems getting emails, or is it a site wide thing? For those who follow How is This My Life? I updated the second installment of the series a week ago. NONE OF MY STORIES ARE ABANDONED, OR WILL BE ABANDONED. I do have a job and real life interests, so things will take a while. So, my stories may not be finished in a long time, or updated regularly, but they will be updated whenever I have a chance to work on them. I am now on Archive of Our Own! Same name, FMPtrumpets. I'm working on transferring stories over, but I have to do it chapter by chapter, and then make sure it's all correct because I can't link this account with that one and just let the computer do the work. It's very annoying. I have joined the 'stories have been stolen' club. While I am flattered that somebody thought enough of my stories to steal one, that does not make it ok to pass my writings off as yours. I work hard on my stories, and it's an insult to writers everywhere to be so lazy that you yourself can't think up your own stories. I would like to reiterate that the only sites I am on is this one, and AO3. Any work that looks like mine on any other site is not mine. Rewrite/update schedule: I'm going to go through some of my stories and clean the writing up a bit. I'm going to go through them one at a time, and any posting or updating on the other stories is going to be a little slower than usual in the meantime. I think I was a little optimistic in my original promise of trying to get a chapter a week. I'll get them out as fast as I can. Life is still a thing, though. 1) The Fates Want Change- Started updating 4/21/23. Have chapters 1-3 done, some major rewrites were done, entire sections edited and added as I saw fit. 2) How is This My Life 3) Vacation to Home 4) The One Time Ace Walked Away 5) To Live a Life I'll have to decide on the others later, but these are the main ones that I think are going to need it the most, especially the earlier chapters. Favorite One Piece Characters: I love writing Luffy as a character. He is a very complex person. On the one hand, he is this happy-go-lucky, goofy guy with a child-like innocence and personality. On the other, he is this vengeful pirate captain who will keep what he considers to be his, safe, while at the same time he has no problem at all with stepping back and letting them fight their own battles, even if it might get them killed. He can go from goofy to serious in a second, he seems clueless all the time, yet always seems to know exactly what's going on, and exactly what he needs to be doing. He has a dark side to him that he rarely let's anybody see, until something happens (like Robin being taken away at Water 7). Zoro is a much simpler character, but at the same time he's a bit more difficult for me to write. He's the lone-wolf, and yet he's also the first one to lay it all down to protect the rest (Thriller Bark). Sanji is probably my least liked Strawhat. I actually liked and respected the guy until Thriller Bark, and we learned just how much of a pervert he really is. And then when he almost died numerous times from nosebleeds? Yeah, no. I'm not even comfortable writing those parts of his character. Nami and Robin are honestly a little fun to write. It's a toss-up sometimes which one of them had the worst childhood, and there is a lot of opportunity there to 'play with', especially in regards to how they settle into life as a Strawhat. |
