Author has written 9 stories for X-Men, X-Men: Evolution, and X-Men: The Movie.
I am me, and that's all I can try to be.
I am a mere X-men fan in all forms.
I probably took on too much too handle for my now lazy self. So please excuse me if I put some of my updates for some of my stories before others. You just end up on a roll sometimes, you know. If I take too long, feel free to let me know.
Don't know that I'm that good of a writer, but I love to hear what everybody thinks.
But I do have to thank everyone and anyone out there that has read, and especially reviewed my first two fics. Seriously, the reviews made both Living Like A Rogue and Pour La Vie Et L'Amour worth writing. :-) Not to mention Escape to Paradise and Starting Over, which are my finished stories that are more recent.
And as I finish the one's I'm currently writing, everyone's been so great. It only makes me want to write more.
I aim to please...so if there's something that I can do to make a story better, let me know. Just can't make any promises, if it makes me blush. :-)
But since I am bored, here are some of my favorite X-men quotes. Oh, and just in case, I do not own any of it, and am not making anything from it. :-) A girl can dream though.
"Swear if I step on one more rotted corpse..." -- Gambit, of Gambit #4
Cyclops: "That sir, is no way to treat a lady."
Rogue: "Sayin ah tol' ya so is beneath mah dignity, so instead, ah'll just say... nyah, nyah, nyah,"
Iceman: "I just don't get it."
Rogue: "Truth is sugah...once you've had three or four personalities at a time runnin' in yer skull...altered states of reality become second nature. If y'all weren't in such bad shape...Ah'd actually be enjoyin' this!"
Rogue to Gambit: "Ah wasn't cryin'...Ah was spittin' out that horrible gumbo!" X-men #24
Gambit: "Oh, th' pain."
Storm: "Godess be praised! The hail-stone atomized the icy floor of the chasm, leaving a cushion of powder --"
Gambit: "...dese people even accepted me. Dat should tell ya what a poor judge of character dey are."
Rogue: "You know you're in trouble."
Professor X (to his cat): "Mystique, that's enough.
Gambit: "A romantic moonlit flight through the mountains, Cherie?"
"My pal, Gambit, he's into charm. Ah'm Rogue. Ah prefer brute force." -- Uncanny X-men #387
Wolverine: "Stay close an' stay quiet. Follow my lead."
Andrea von Strucker: "We always funnel the profits generated from Gambit's...acquisitions right back into the Homo superior community.
Angel: "I'm thinkin' back about a year ago, maybe more...somebody swiped a Matisse from my New York penthouse."
Gambit: "So why's everybody callin' him 'Joseph'? What dat all about? Maybe I should start callin' myself somethin' different. James. 'Gambit?' No, I'm James." Uncanny X-men #337
Rogue: "In scientific terms: a-duh!"
"Alors! I thought I'd joined the X-men...not the Brady bunch! There are some things I prefer not to do in a group!" Gambit, in X-men #4
"I am an X-man...and save the sex-change jokes." -- Jean Grey, of Ultimate X-men #47
Pete Wisdom: "I've fallen, Pryde."
Kitty: "Wasn't there another way to distract her? I don't like it when people point guns at you."
Psylocke: "Rogue you fight like a girl!"
(In a danger room simulation:)
Iceman: "I'm trying to think--"
Storm: "I'm a weather witch, not a snow plow." --X-men Evolution, Turn of the Rogue.
Wolverine: "Any comments?"
"Told you I didn't need no help...now get over here an' help me!" --Wolverine, from Uncanny X-men #355
Narration: "What is it in a man's soul that makes him believe that there is light at the end of the tunnel? That the sun will rise upon another day? Even when all signs indicate that the darkness will never end? That the finish line is farther away than we think? That we're simply not strong enough? Fast enough? Pure enough? Is it foolish pride? Naivete? Or is it the human spirit simply powerful enough to make the sun rise by sheer will alone?" -- X-men #80
Pete Wisdom: "You made me throw my cigarette away. You must be punished." -- Excalibur #102
AND IF I TAKE TOO LONG ON ANY UPDATES...feel free to tell me so. Sometimes I get so caught up in life or just in one story more then the others and I seem to forget about the rest. :-) I don't mean to neglect them, really. :-D Ok, so I'm lazy. PROCRASTINATORS UNITE...Sometime tomorrow.
