Author has written 1 story for Hunchback of Notre Dame.
First of all...Thanks for taking the time to read my first crack at fanfic! Second, here's a shameless request: If you enjoyed Justice and Temptation, if it made your senses run rampant, if it took you to a world of infinite gothic darkness, if it inspired and delighted you with its proverbial intoxication...or if you simply had a kick reading it, tell your friends! I am a review-fiend! I love to know how I'm doing, what I can improve on, what you liked, etc...so thank you my fellow poets and lovers-of-the poetic!
Now...Let's see...me...well, I must first admit that this first (and so far only) story I've ever written on here was meant as a challenge by a playwriting teacher of mine who said "stretch your limits." Of course, I never showed him the finished product...hee, hee...but, I tried to fulfill his request, and, (I think) I succeeded in my goal, because when I put my fanfic on here I wasn't sure if I was giddy or frightened! I like a lot of things, mainly theatre-oriented. But...Me, personally:
Locale: The rainiest city on earth: Seattle, Wa!
Age: at time of fanfic write: 17. Now...19!
Occupation: Summer camp counselor/ Student of Cornish college of the Arts!
Hobbies: drawing, design, singing, writing, music, piano, etc!
Food: Anything Thai. Ah, thai.
Movies: (I'll give you the top 15): The Lord of the Rings Trilogy, Gladiator, Moulin Rouge, Almost Famous, Titanic, Pirates of the Caribbean, Zoolander, Bridget Jones' Diary, The Princess Bride, Quills, Phantom of the Opera, Romeo + Juliet, When Harry met Sally, Anything Disney, abd Boondock Saints
Music: Anything with great lyrics and a minor chord does it for me. "Hellfire", from Hunchback, (are we surprised?) "Roxanne" from Moulin Rouge, and "Point of No Return" from Phantom.
Favorite musicals: (in some type of order) "Les Miserables", "POTO" "Moulin Rouge", "My Fair Lady", "Hunchback of Notre Dame" as well as "Notre Dame de Paris" (I discovered it for $4 on Amazon.com and it's worth a checkout. I love it!) "Beauty and the Beast", "Miss Saigon", "Hercules," and "The Lion King" really rocked my socks off!
In other words, I have a happily overactive imagination, a love of Broadway musicals, and an all-consuming adoration for true, tragic, tormented villains! About those villains...here are a list of some favs!
Fav. Villains/Baddies/and other Misunderstood Folk: The Marquis de Sade (Geoffrey Rush is my favorite actor), Frollo (duh), Hades (from Disney's Hercules), Javert, Commodus (in "Gladiator"), Iago (from Shakespeare's "Othello"), Erik (the Phantom), Henry Higgins, Jafar, ( I love you Jonathan Freeman!) Dracula, Gollum, and...The Duke (from Moulin Rouge!)
An update: November 7th 2006--over a year since el fanfic-o was posted: Hey all! Thanks for still reviewing! It's a hoot (and always a bad-day boost) to read some thoughtful reviews. Hey! a renewed Frollo interest has returned to my life in view of Sophomore year of College. We're doing character studies, and I've returned to good old Fro. He's a challenge, but really fun...yet I've been so busy balancing jobs and school-work/Frollo work, that I don't know if or when I'll ever get around to sequel-doings. Mayhap one day. Don't despair too much. Fro needs some fun, eventually, eh?
J'ai fin! Merci beaucoup et j'espere nous aimons mon livre! Vive la vie la boheme, mon amis! And keep writing! Art is power!
