Author has written 3 stories for Harry Potter, and King Arthur.

Okay, about me...To state the obvious: I like writing. I haven't shown it to anybody until now, though. So all reviews are very welcome, just don't make me cry ;) No, seriously, constructive criticism is very much appreciated.

Reading is one of my favourites things too, don't care what type of book it is, anything with pages in it will do fine...

When I'm not behind my computer or inside a book, I actually go to class. I'm an English student finishing my MA, so that's why I write my stories in English. If you come across some weird sentences, it's likely I was thinking in Dutch at the moment and I mixed it up. Happens a lot by the way and you get really strange looks from people when you suddenly switch from Dutch to English... Anyway, please point them out to me!

What else is there to say about me? My favourite ice-cream flavours are banana and pistachio. I hate cheese, which is pretty stupid for someone from Holland ) and my favourite sports are swimming and gymnastics. I am an absolute coward when it comes to scary movies. Most of the time I stick my fingers in my ears and hide behind a pillow.

I'm a fan of Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings - both films and books. Other writers that I like: Guy Gavriel Kay, Robin Hobb, Josie Lloyd & Emlyn Rees, George R.R. Martin, Jasper Fforde, Isabel Allende, Raymond Feist, Ian McEwan and Thea Beckman.

Favourite films: Butterfly Effect, Finding Nemo, Little Mermaid ( I know, I know, I can't help it - Sebastian rocks!) , King Arthur, Mona Lisa Smile, Chocolat, Love Actually, Rosencrantz & Guildenstern are dead, Shrek, Life of Brian & Holy Grail, Shakespeare in Love, Wallace and Gromit, English Patient, State of Grace, Het Schnitzelparadijs, Memento, Four Brothers, Sin City, Ice Age, Shouf Shouf Habibi, and Bridget Jones! I'm addicted to Men in Trees, Grey's Anatomy, Ugly Betty, and Rome.

Favourite quotes:

"Those who dream by day are cognizant of many things which escape those who only dream by night."
- Edgar Allen Poe.

Guildenstern: I think I have it. A man talking sense to himself is no madder than a man talking nonsense not to himself.
Rosencrantz: Or just as mad.
Guildenstern: Or just as mad.
Rosencrantz: And he does both.
Guildenstern: So there you are.
Rosencrantz: Stark raving sane.

Rosencrantz: Nor do I, really. It's silly to be depressed by it. I mean, one thinks of it like being alive in a box. One keeps forgetting to take into account the fact that one is dead, which should make all the difference, shouldn't it? I mean, you'd never know you were in a box, would you? It would be just like you were asleep in a box. Not that I'd like to sleep in a box, mind you. Not without any air. You'd wake up dead for a start, and then where would you be? In a box. That's the bit I don't like, frankly. That's why I don't think of it. Because you'd be helpless, wouldn't you? Stuffed in a box like that. I mean, you'd be in there forever, even taking into account the fact that you're dead. It isn't a pleasant thought. Especially if you're dead, really. Ask yourself, if I asked you straight off, "I'm going to stuff you in this box. Now, would you rather be alive or dead?" naturally, you'd prefer to be alive. Life in a box is better than no life at all, I expect. You'd have a chance, at least. You could lie there thinking, "Well, at least I'm not dead."
-Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead

"Denial. It's not just a river in Egypt. It's a freakin' ocean."
-Grey's Anatomy

Further addictions include books, shoes, earrings, and DVDs and having deep and meaningful discussions with my friends about important issues such as why having thirty pairs of shoes is an absolute necessity and which actor you'd like to have wrapped up as a present and delivered at your front door. At moments like these my male friends tend to ignore the female ones. Or start talking about soccer really loudly. You gotta love 'm.
