As an author I love getting feedback from my fans. It is a crack that only authors understand. That being said, I'm getting tired of the stupid flamers. I have decided to moderate my guest reviews so I can just decline to have all the stupidly flaming guests. Call me what you will, I don't give a damn at this point. But I will make my point understood and blunt at this point
I love constructive criticism. It allows me to see what I have done wrong in a chapter or a story and improve my next chapter or story with it. I've been getting better, steadily, as I have wrote more and more stories and more and more chapters. But I want to be honest with you people, I don't put my best ideas up here on Fanfiction.net. As my dream to become an author, I save my best ideas, my newest ideas, for my own personal work and I use the reviews that give me constructive criticism to make my own personal stories better. Yes, I tend to write clichés out the ass. 'Naruto abused, Civilian Council hates Naruto, Kakashi being a prick, etc' but I write these clichés so that my own stories don't have them. I try to write fresh things, fresh ideas in my own personal stories and sometimes to avoid the clichés, I have to write them out in a Naruto Fanfiction.
Please, remember, telling an author what they did wrong and how they can better change it is a constructive criticism. A flame tends to include no amount of praise for what they did write, no ideas for what the author can do to make the idea better, stupidly cussing at them such as calling the author dipshit, and/or hating on the story based solely on the pairing.
Example would be someone cussing at an author in a review for making the story Naruto/Hinata or Naruto/Sakura or some other pairing that they feel is overdone.
Flames can also be hating the author for not writing fanon style characters.
Example would be someone writing Sasuke out to be a decent fighter without all the 'Ooh I'm an Uchiha' arrogance.
Hypocrites are also flamers. They want to see Sasuke bashed but hate the usual clichés... hmm something does not fit here.
Look, my rant aside, I would love to get more constructive criticism for my stories because I can make them better.
That said, I have a new story in the works that I hope you will all enjoy that will involve a darker scenario again.
Story Update Progress
Naruto Bloodlines: 0% I haven't even started on the new chapter yet, I haven't thought about it with the other ideas drilling in my head.
The Butcher of Konoha: eh... 50-65% This will be the alternate ending, but a good majority of it is just a repost of Chapter 6.
A Little Extra Help from an Old Man: Ugh... I have no idea where I'm even at on this. I have people asking for me to just repost the old one and I'm trying to rework it to make it flow better so I don't know.
Once More, to Save Everything: 0% still working on some minor re-writes of the earlier chapters. Don't worry, I won't be doing a whole ALEHfaOM debacle.
Courier Six: 5%? I just started working on it today, but I also have stuff I need to do for school
From Dust the Crow Rises: 5% This will be a Naruto/Hinata... ish story. It's a crossover and that's all I'm giving at the moment. Some people might be able to figure it out though.
