Author has written 16 stories for Twilight, and Vampire Diaries.
Welcome to the Anything Goes* Twific Contest, where we’re shaking things up a bit and trying something new. Since anything goes, you- the writer!- are in charge. Write what ya like! Write who ya like! Submit how ya like!
That’s right, other than some minor rules there is no set criteria. There is no set prompt or theme. There is no required pairing. There is no specific genre. Whatever strikes your fancy, floats your boat, acts as a plot bunny...you think it, you write it, we accept it!
But wait! That’s not all! You also get the choice of submitting your entry anonymously OR boldly sticking it out there with your fic name stamped all over it. It’s all cool with us!

Join our Facebook group! We have tons of prompts in our group!
Now for that little * disclaimer. There are a few rules that you need to adhere to:
No RPF (real person fic)
No graphic or gratuitous rape
Even if you plan to continue your entry after the contest ends, your submission needs to stand alone as a one-shot
Authors may submit up to two entries (whether their own or a collaboration, no more than two entries total)
Entries must be rated appropriately
Word limit: 3000 - 13000
Entries must be original and previously unpublished
Cross-overs ARE allowed as long as at least one Twilight character plays a main role. I mean, come on. It IS a Twific contest ;-)
Judges: Packy Pie
Submissions: August 1, 2016 - Sept 17, 2016
Voting: Sept 19 - Sept 25
Winners Announced: Sept 28
As there is no central theme or prompt, and as we anticipate a variety of genres, stories won't be judged against one another, but on their own idea and cultivation. Public voting and an array of surprise awards are therefore to be determined after all entries have been received.
Entries should include a header listing:
Author name (if you want your submission posted anonymously, please put the word “Anonymous” after your author name)
FFnet profile page link
Word count (not including header or any necessary translations)
Disclaimer: The author does not own any publicly recognizable entities herein. No copyright infringement is intended.
Entries should be submitted in either a Word doc or G-docs format to firstname.lastname@example.org . In addition to putting ‘Anonymous’ after your author name, also put it in the subject line of your email if you wish to enter anonymously. Once the hosts have validated entries, they will be uploaded to FFnet in clusters.
