This account is a sub-account of The Book Keeper a.k.a. Etamin, meant for the sole usage and dedication to the world of Avatar: The Last Airbender. For further information about the author, please visit the general account here. I generally follow more adult-themed fandoms such as Final Fantasy, Harry Potter and Assassin's Creed there. For future references, Akalish will focus mainly on the cartoon of ATLA and, to an extent, other cartoons such as Galactik Football. The fandom of RotBTD will remain part of the main account.

NOTICE: This is not a Role Reversal or Personality Switch AU, like ab igne ignem capere or What It Is To Burn. The characters will be adjusted after their childhood growth and from there be kept as in character as possible. I.e., having grown up under his father's critical eye, Zuko will become naturally darker and more clever, conniving and manipulative than canon, but still maintain critical traits of his character ― like his determination, (his inability to create lightning,) his hot-headed tendencies and his compassion/moral compass ― most of which is masked behind insincere smiles and an unreadable face. Same with Azula; despite being one the side of good and, actually, trustworthy, Azula is still as aggressive, strategical and cunning as ever, capable of using her social skills to make friends and allies instead of underlings. They're both still socially stumped on the prospect of romance. As a side note, they both still know how to be incredibly hostile and sharp towards certain people and situations. Notice: Names for specific characters have rough translation and can mean more than one thing, like that of Avatar Kaya. Combining characters and kanji can be a mess as it often provides different meanings. The name in itself does not exist in any dictionary, so in finding only scraps of the individual character meanings in Chinese and/or Japanese, I've taken the liberty of stating that even for the world of Avatar, many things are made up, including the kanji system. While the characters tell sounds or words, the names behind them are different. For example, the meaning behind Kaya comes from both Kája (Czech) and Cahya (Indonesian) as the name doesn't have a coherent meaning in Chinese or Japanese.
