Author has written 3 stories for Fruits Basket.
Konnichiwa! My name is Nekochan Kawaii (or rather, my alias... my real name will remain anonymous), and I'mfourteen years old. I'm fairly new to fanfiction-writing, but I have been writing other stuff (like short stories, or formerly I wrote for the Neopian Times on neopets ((under the username belldandy213))) for a long time.
UPDATE 7/12/2011: It feels strange to be coming back here again. If you didn't notice... I'm very sorry, but a lot of dreadful things have happened since I was writing these fanfictions back in middle school (that "lot of things" that was going on). I did not mean to leave anybody hanging, but I know that, by now, many of you probably won't remember the stories. I don't have much of an incentive to continue, that considered, but I will consider, especially if, upon rereading Key to a Forgotten Past, I find it worth the attention. And yes, I do remember, roughly, how the series ended. By the way, I am starting a new project adapting Wish-chan's "New Trials of Cardcaptor Sakura, Syaoran, and Friends" into a manga, if any of you are interested in seeing it. Email me at email@example.com if you want to be notified of updates.
Current Progress on Fanfics:
Key to a Forgotten Past: Sequel to the one-shot,"The Door to my Memories"... I'm still in the planning stages for this one, but it seems to be coming to place rather quickly. I'm not sure, however, if I will want to upload any of this until the whole fanfiction is complete, but I think I will be working on this one for a while, because I will rather enjoy it, I think... UPDATE 10/14/05: After two months of planning and several of being on hiatus, I've finally started to write "Key to a Forgotten Past". It's really a beautiful story. I think I was close to tears several times while outlining it. I've finished key planning up to about chapter 10 and outlining for up to Chapter 5. UPDATE 6/10/06: I apologize for the enormously long wait, but I've had a lot of things going on. However, I've finally decided to pull thisstory out of hiatus and finish this tale for all of you readers to enjoy.
Wishing not to be Alone: A Hiro and Kisa fanfic, as well as my first fanfic ever. UPDATE: This story has been laying in limbo for a while, and I'm sorry to say that it will remain unfinished. Concentrating on two fics at one time is very draining for me, and I have not felt very driven to continue this one. However, this will definitely not be the last Hiro/Kisa fic I do (I love the pairing too much), and if I feel the need, I may bring it back. For now, though, it's not coming back. I apologize genuinely for the inconvenience, but it's only for the best.
Update 6/10/06: Once I finish my current project (KTFP), I am thinking of taking a break from longer works and dabbling with a few one shots. Potentially, I plan on eventually writing a Shaoran/Sakura one-shot from CCS, and a Hiro-centric (Hiro/Kisa themed, of course) one shot from Furuba (which might end up being called "Black Sheep", but I'm not completely sure yet). Other ideas churn within the mind of this writer, but of course, much of these probably won't make their way to FF.net for a long time (at least until "Key to a Forgotten Past"is done and over with).
As always, the support of the readers is really what keeps me going, and I'm ecstatic that my stories have attracted some attention and loyal readers. I am so very grateful! After being in hiatus for a while, I wholly promise, I will be dedicating my full attention to my fanfictions. Wish me luck!
Anyway, about my interests: I am into website designing. Very fun stuff! I adore making graphics (like wallpapers and such), and drawing manga. I write a lot, mostly very sad, dramatic stories... I get depressed whenever I read any of my stories because there's always some sort of tragedy that occurs at the very end... or in rare cases, a really beautiful ending that involves something really sad, but with hope and makes me cry anyway... Maybe I'll eventually write a comedy... but for now, I just can't seem to summon up a sense of humor to do that.
Going by my pen name, you can tell I adore cats. Yes... kitties are so wonderful, that I'm very obsessive (therefore, Azumanga Daioh was like a dream to me). To be frank, I just adore cute things in general... That's probably why I find it such a chore to draw anything except for little kids, adorable animals, and any other cute things...I think that's why I can't draw boys well.
Currently, I've been completely absorbed inside the world of Fruits Basket. What I mean is that I can (and do)change every conversation I get into and make it about Furuba... I spend hours and hours on the computer, staring at pictures of the Fruits Basket characters, reading summaries and translations of every chapter (those that haven't been released in the United States, that is; don't worry, I do read the Tokyopop releases as they're released), and being totally obsessiveover the story, characters, and plot. My favorite characters are: 1. Momiji Sohma (not only adorable... he has such a sad story... tear I wish I could bring him to life and then hug him! ((alas, another dream unfulfilled))); 2. Saki Hanajima (her goth demeanor, the waves... she's just so awesome!); 3. Kyo Sohma (hugs Kyo plushie "Ooooh... Kyo-kun... I'll always be a fan of the cat!"); 4. Kisa Sohma (She's just so sweet... Plus she's a tiger, and tigers are related to cats, right?). Hmmm... my mom thinks that I've gone a bit far with my obsession... but I can't help it if that's all I want to talk about, right?
A few anime series that I enjoy:
Fruits Basket (I already rambled about this one...)
Manga Series I am obsessed with:
If I mentioned them all, I'd probably be typing for the rest of my life... And really, I'd rather write fan fictions or do some other meaningless task instead...
Oh, and I mustn't forget...
Favorite Pairings (both fanonand canon):
Hiro/Kisa (Fruits Basket)
Well... Ja! for now!
