In this new world, he is determined to settle down and live a peaceful life, but Lady Luck insures that he finds himself drawn right back into the thick of combat, all thanks to the paranoid actions of a certain bat.

Upon emerging what she thought was just a few minutes, the poor girl is stunned to find herself in a world much different then the one she left, with all new rules and mysteries.

The eighth piece however, remained with the Lady in the Lake, for it contained the true light of Excalibur and could only be trusted with one with both a strong will and pure heart. Now imagine her surprise when such a person just happened to come crashing down in her waters several centuries later, near dead and missing an arm.
