You can generally check if I'm alive and get a feel for what is inspiring me by what I'm reposting at the moment. I also post ficbits/scannlation/art here on occasion. Replies to questions are tagged with #gummy-replies
If you are asking me fic-related questions and want faster replies, you may want to message me there because I don't get alerts for my inbox anymore and don't check very often :(
Story Notes: I promise I will let you know if I plan to drop any of my multichapter fics. Even if they are 1-2 years without update, that doesn't mean I have given up on them. It just means I really need to go on a marathon bing read/watch of the series to get inspiration again lol
When I mark a work as complete, IT IS COMPLETE. PERMANENTLY. Fo realz. No more, sorry.
Also yes I do like shounen-ai/yaoi but that doesn't mean all my fics have it. I enjoy writing friendship/hetero pairings just as much. So a lot of my longer fics probably won't have any blatant pairing in them and if they do have pairings it will probably be slow building. I shiver at my former Prince of Tennis fangirl days, they've basically scared me out of writing most romance.
I do like subtext though. Subtext is fun.
Also while it is cute when people offer me plot suggestions for my multichapter fics, I need to emphasize that I already have a pretty firm outline of the direction I want all my long-fic to go. And I kinda want to write them with my own ideas and twists, so that whether an idea fails or flies, I can feel good knowing that everything was at least my shitty idea done in the way I wanted it.
I'm a bit possessive I guess lol. Which also means you probably shouldn't ask about "adopting" my old stories. Anyone is, however, free to write things, in their words, about settings similar to my stories. I don't have a monopoly over ideas, if you think you can do something with the same premise better than me, please do go for it.
Fandoms I Write For:
Digimon - I'm kinda struggling with really bad memory, I need time to rewatch digimon to be reinspired but I don't have that kind of time OTL Inspiration level: Low
Naruto - Same as above, I haven't read like the last 50 chapters and I'm currently half struggling with disillusionment about the series in general. Also on how much I want to include new canon facts into my fic. Once I find the willpower to catch up to the manga, I'll probably update Inspiration level: Low
Kingdom Hearts - idek anymore with this series. I still love the characters, but I haven't played any of the recent games and I don't really have any fandom friends so I never really have inspiration to write. Inspiration level: Low
Kuroko no Basuke - At one point a few months ago I was head over heels about this series. Now I'm just more...meh. Idk, maybe I burned myself out from too much passion all at once. But I still have wonderful friends to chat about it so motivation is never too far off, especially with the second season airing now. Inspiration level: Medium
One Piece - All of a sudden this series came back into my life and punched me in the face with feelings and now I'm looping "We Fight Together" (14th opening) on my ipod 24/7 and the plot bunnies are attacking me with horrible viciousness D: Inspiration level: Really damn high
Prince of Tennis - pretty much my motivation for this is 100% dead. I had a good time in the fandom but...I've moved on? Maybe if I ever decide to read the New Prince of Tennis but I'm quite happy with Kurobas as my sports manga of choice right now. Inspiration level: DEAD
Reborn - I haven't even finished the manga and I keep looking back at this as a horrible phase too, but Potential was the first multichap fic I ever started so I want to damn well finish it...so it will never be abandoned. I just...need to find my inspiration again...which is slowly happening ever since I went back and read some nice KHR fics. Inspiration level: Medium
Young Justice - I'm kinda in and out of this one, mostly because I haven't finished watching season 2 so I don't want spoilers. Not that tumblr hasn't spoiled most of it for me anyways but I figure if I wait long enough I'll forget the spoilers and then I can start and marathon season 2 and hopefully find inspiration. Inspiration level: Low
