Author has written 20 stories for Fruits Basket, Inuyasha, Covenant, Supernatural, Ninja Turtles, Chronicles of Narnia, Three Ninja's, Avengers, X-Men: The Movie, Star Trek: 2009, and Mentalist.
If you've been following me for the last few years (yeesh!), you'll notice that recently I've been just a little bit active. Which, really, compared to the last two years, I'm a freaking pulsating rage-virus zombie!
Figured I'd let you know where I'm at right now with my stories. I'll go ahead and go in order of fandom.
Avengers/MCU - Bar Scene and Perspective were written in the heat of the first Avengers movie coming out in 2012. However, they were also written with the intent of being a part of a small universe I had an idea for - the three OCs having their own stories and parts to play within the marvel universe. I haven’t actually gone anywhere or done anything with this since as you can see, but there are outlines written in a notebook somewhere for them. (You’ll notice that I hate to say a story is on hiatus. To me they’re not because they’re always on my mind.)
Chronicles of Narnia – Dormant is my personal favorite first chapter ever. I did have the second chapter hand written on some old college notes, but then I moved from my dorm back home and then from home to my first apartment and it got lost somewhere in between. Again, this is outlined. And it’s meant to only cover or follow the events of a Horse and His Boy. There were some questions posed by guests that I did not have a way to respond. It’s been five years and I’m still going to say “I don’t want to give too much away” but of the four Pevensie siblings, three have romantic interests. So, definitely, Lucy and Susan are also in the story.
Covenant – Our Bond was my second multi-chaptered fiction and was my first commitment story that was not written in First Person POV. This was followed by the companion pieces Through These Times and The Steps He Took; which is actually one that I’m unsure of adding anything to simply because it would depend on the sequel that would follow. Which brings me to my next point. I did attempt to write a sequel for Our Bond, I actually have two different beginnings for it on file, but both would lead to two very different stories and I’m still on the fence on which way to go. I don’t want to half ass a sequel, Evelyn and Josie and you lovely readers deserve something wonderful.
Fruits Basket & Inuyasha – These two categories are complete. I’m not looking into writing for either any time soon (though I’m not going to lie, a sequel for Learning to Breathe was tempting). The stories I needed to tell at the time have been told. And, I hope that they still bring entertainment to a few readers today.
Ninja Turtles - There are days I am tempted to update Absolutely Nothing with the latest Ninja Turtles movie(s) ß the second movie comes out this summer! But I guess I’ll leave it up to reader feedback. Absolutely Nothing gets very little attention, which is fine, but if there’s not much of a demand for it, I think I’m okay leaving this as is. (Even though the new ninja turtles look freaking amazing!!)
Star Trek 2009 - Right now, this universe is my baby. Right now The First Time is my most popular story (shrieks in happiness), with the most views, alerts, and reviews (that has topped at 62!!) thank you everyone so much! I’m really so grateful and happy that so many have taken a liking to and an interest in Sonja and her relationship with Jim. Recruiting Skyla Stine is a work in progress birthday present for my friend. I don’t know if that means it will take a year to get each chapter out or not, but I really hope not. I’m just excited because I get to delve into the knit and gritty of a sibling relationship, a complicated one at that with Pike. As far as stories to come I do plan on having individual stories centered around their Academy days, the 2009 movie and Into Darkness. Also there was a bit of a murmur I think back in 2012/13 asking to know more about Sonja and I’m excited to let you know that I’m working on a pretty decently sized piece for her origin story; her life before and leading up to Starfleet Academy.
Supernatural – I had so many plans for my OCs Jeremy and Christine Manning. Through A Child’s Eyes was going to jump through the rest of season two and there were going to be individual stories following through to season five, maybe six. I even started writing a prequel, properly introducing the Manning siblings before they ever even heard of the Winchesters. But then I moved and a lot of paperwork, outlines, and written scenes were lost. Trust me, I’m a lot more paranoid now when it comes to saving my work and backing it up on multiple hard drives, pen drives, and a hard copy in a notebook. I’ve looked back over this story so many times and I’m just blown away at how vividly I had it all worked out. I read a part of a chapter and immediately I remember how I had planned that part to come into play later and it’s just...it’s really a story I worked hard at starting. I wish that girl who wrote it (me, my past self at that time) could come back and just stay up all night for however long it took to write it all down. Because it’s a good story. I’d love to share it with you. Hopefully I will before I croak.
Supernatural, Mentalist, Doctor Who Crossover – The Red Bowtie is my toy box, my sand box, my playground. Expect random updates from this one, I don’t see it ever being complete. If anyone has any random requests, tell me, I just might do it. I’m not saying I’d probably have it out by the end of the week, but you know, it’s a request, I’d probably be excited just that anyone wanted any kind of writing from me for this. I will admit though, Jane is my Achilles’ heel. He’s just, he’s unpredictable and has an IQ that soars above my own – like the Doctor but the Doctor was written for a family friendly audience, Jane is so many different shades; he’s a challenge.
Three Ninjas – I don’t know where this came from. A random post on the dashboard of my tumblr and suddenly, this story would not let me go. I used to love this movie, the first one. The second one with the new actors kind of lost me and the third released one (which was actually filmed second) I hadn’t actually seen until after the writing bug bit me and I was researching the characters. I wanted to write a sequel for this. HTNSMBF ended with Natalie closing a chapter on her friend’s story and I really wanted to write Natalie’s story, her own arc, one where she could focus on herself. Maybe if I get bit again, I will write it.
X-Men – I’m working on it. That is all I can really say. I still have everything that I wrote for it initially, but I’m going back over everything and fleshing it all out. Rosie is more than an extra mutant just thrown in the mix, and that epiphany (I kid you not) seriously just hit me as I was writing chapter five. She doesn’t have to be there. She wasn’t kicked out, her family hasn’t shunned her, she has a place to go, other people to depend on, although, yes the cost of her freedom is a huge one and ultimately the one thing that she hinges on. That, and Darwin. She has taken a turn with me and I have to reconsider some points in the story with this. Just know that I am working on it.
Upcoming New Fandoms
ROTBTD – I started writing a modern!au titled Drive, last year and published all of two chapters on my tumblr. I’ll be uploading those here just so I can have all my writing in one place and maybe not overlook it as much. This is another one that I had fun writing and am excited to finish. I do know how it’s going to end. It’s just the getting there part.
The Maze Runner – I created an OC. I really didn’t mean to. And no, nobody asked for it. It just happened. It started out as short scenes back in August of ’15 and then I was writing drabbles while listening to music (like the ipod shuffle challenge) and when I put everything in order just last month (April 2016) I was looking at an outline spanning the TMR trilogy and then some. So that may be coming out at some point. We’ll see.
That should do it!
Thank you for taking the time to read my profile. I figure I probably lost a few after, I don’t know, “yeesh” maybe. But if you made it this far, then thanks. If anyone wants to talk to me about a story or about a character or something you would like to see or maybe I didn’t make something clear or you feel I completely botched a character, you can send me a message. I’m open to discussion. I’m not open to meaningless hate I have the right to refuse that. But if you want to talk, I’m open. It’s always great to hear from a reader.
youtube channel: Last time I uploaded anything on youtube was four years ago. But who knows, I may get a wild hare and try to make a trailer again for something.
