Making progress this week on a few stories. My work contract has me working 150 clinical hours, in tandem with approximately 50 educational hours, so right now, I'm writing from about 11 PM to about 2 AM. I'm also doing Rosh review at the moment, so my progress will likely be slowed. I have no beta, so keep in mind that there will be grammatical mistakes; apologies for that. 2. I've noticed a lot more rather rude comments on reviews? Is that common? I've also received a few rude PM's... it's a bit jarring, to be honest. I mean, we're writing for fun, with no money involved, and I've got people telling me that I'm terrible, I suck, or I'm dumb? That's rather ironic, since most of the reviews are either guests, or people with no stories published. Easy to critique, I guess... 3. In that same breath, it's refreshing to see support from some old reviewers, too. I apologize for my distance; this site can occasionally be ruthless, and I don't see a point in subjugating myself to critics here when I have enough of them at work. Between that and the depression from COVID and the general state of affairs in the ER, I was like "why bother?". I don't plan to disappear again for awhile - and if I do, you'll know. |
