Author has written 3 stories for Harry Potter, and Lord of the Rings.
A little 'about me' of sorts:
I'm Sarah from North Carolina (which is in the Southeastern United States for everyone who's not from there). I just graduated from college and I'm about to go to graduate school next year!
Things that make me tick: reading anything and everything I can get my hands on, watching musicals and singing along (poorly), swimming in the ocean, solving crossword puzzles and sudoku, dancing (especially belly dancing), eating sno cones or any form of ice (not ice cream though), really good cheese, philosophizing, numbers, discussing poetry with people in nonacademic settings (because when I'm in class, all my intelligence disappears), listening to any and every kind of music, learning about deadly viruses (I used to want to be an epidemiologist), watching Shark Week on the Discovery Channel (I also used to want to be a marine biologist), and soaking up the sun as much as I possibly can.
Some authors that really make me want to write (not fanfiction authors...published ones): John Irving, Dean Koontz, Michael Chabon, Rick Bragg, Jostein Gaarder, Stephen King, Robin McKinley, Kurt Vonnegut, Lee Smith, Mary Doria Russell, Bailey White, and Barbara Kingsolver.
Oblivate--my first attempt at fanfiction. "The Trio is stunned when Draco Malfoy comes back for a seventh year at Hogwarts. As the war rages, Hermione and Draco continue their personal feuds, with a twist! oneshot"
It's pretty bad, but I hope some people at least think it's a little funny.
Forgetting If, Remember Yes--Two thousand years after the Quest to destroy the One Ring, Legolas acquires a job teaching Sindarin at a prestigious girls' school. However, none of the girls take him seriously. None except for one...LOC
Where the Sidewalk Ends--"To say that I was worried when I woke up in a pile of leaves instead of my bed should have been quite an understatement." Eventual Legolas/OC.
NOT abandoned! I'm writing again, I swear!
