Author has written 8 stories for Star Wars. Does anyone know what to write in a profile? Just a human trying to entertain myself in this crazy world. New Hope, Indiana is my first, and probably only, fic. I'm surprised at how much fun it's been to write-- mostly wrote it for my own enjoyment, then thought aaaah what the hell, maybe someone will get a kick out of it. I've got most of it done, so I'll be updating consistently until this damn shipping thing is outta my system. (But then there are still everyone else's fics out there, and they're so good and compelling and...yeah, I should just accept that I'm a lost cause.) The fic is a 1950s AU. It loots the OT, mostly, with some EU, though I won't be following these rigidly after the first groundwork chapters, when my own little Han/Leia fluff angst soap opera develops. Only minor TFA in this universe, such as Damerons. Because it's the 1950s, and I don't think they had Starkiller technology then? And also because...well, you know why. There will be swearing, difficult subject matter and eventual adulting. So if that's not your thing, beat it! (No, please don't beat it. I'd love your support.) No one has to be told that I don't own any of this; will not make money off this; will never be able to develop a time machine that takes me directly to the lair of the young Harrison Ford, right?
