![]() Author has written 47 stories for Holby City, 24, West Wing, Law and Order: SVU, Trebizon series, and Casualty. Well I thought my profile deserved an update since my fandom of choice seems to have changed a bit recently, so here we go... Once upon a time, there was a little girl who liked to write fanfiction - not that it had a name back in the 80's or a place to live but she liked it all the same. Some 23 years on from my first effort (ouch, am old!) I'm still going strong, although, at times struggling with the whole completion stage! The fandom that brought me here was good old Holby City (the English Grey's Anatomy is probably how I'd describe it to anyone from outside the country who have never heard of it). For about 3 years I tortured the lovely Connie Beauchamp in a multitude of different ways, only stopping when real Holby started failing to inspire me anymore. Then came The West Wing and the 65,000 word debacle that was "Definitely Not The Jackal" which is one of my favourite things I've ever written. The only problem was that I didn't have an OTP for The WW and once DNTJ was done with I got a little lost and wasn't sure what to write. So, on the subject of OTPs, along came Law & Order : SVU and the pairing to end all pairings. Oh yes, I'm very firmly for E/O all the way, be they friends or lovers or sworn enemies as it happens. As long as they're together I don't care. I have 2 completed SVU fics (Coffee and Once Upon A Christmas Party) and 3 currently on the go (Champage, 100 Mother & Daughter Moments and The War At Home) plus a collaboration with FutureTVWriter "Breaking The Habit". I've got another fic hiding up my sleeve too but quite frankly I think 100 Moments is gonna keep me going for a while anyway! I love my new muse FTVW more than I love my own left foot, and my other fave thing is any kind of feedback, good or bad, so you know what to do!!!! :D UPDATE - The fic up my sleeve seems to have forced its way online! Confusion (very briefly known as Complicated) does my usual trick of sticking a big stick into the middle of the Special Victims Unit and stirring them all up! Please R&R! |
