Author has written 6 stories for Alex Rider.

(Hey look who finally updated her profile for the first time in a year!!)

I'm Nienna (not my real name, but every writer needs a fanfiction-writing alter ego), and I'm making my way through college with a history/political science double major (agh)

. I'm Catholic, I love Tolkien, and I love to write. I play the violin, piano, guitar and flute, and I sing in choir. My favorite books are: Tolkien's works, the Inheritance Cycle by Christopher Paolini, The Alex Rider series, the Gabriel Allon books by Daniel Silva, Rick Riordan's works (most of them) and Harry Potter.

My username on here, Nienna, is the Vala of Mourning from The Silmarillion by J.R.R. Tolkien. She wept for the scarring of the land of Middle Earth. Fun fact; her other titles are 'Mistress of Death', 'The Sighing One', 'The Winter One', and 'Night'. Personally, I don't have this much angst ascribed to me but she's one of my favorite characters in the Ainulindale (creation of Ea, eventually Middle Earth) and she was Gandalf's teacher.

Honestly, writing fanfiction is rather hard for me. It feels awkward, like I'm reaching into someone else's world and moving pieces around, but it's an excellent exercise and I really enjoy it :)

Stuff You Can Expect Me to Write:

- Alex Rider fanfiction for Spyfest

-I'm basically on hiatus now :(

Don't Expect Me To Write:

-Smut, incest, or slash

-Excessive cursing. the f-bomb appears, like, once in one of my stories.

Favorite quotes, aka Writing Inspiration:

"Be cautious lest you become one who knows the price of everything and the value of nothing."

“You could rattle the stars," she whispered. "You could do anything, if only you dared. And deep down, you know it, too. That’s what scares you most.” - Throne of Glass

"Faithless is he who says farewell when the road darkens." - J.R.R. Tolkien

"By the hurts we accumulate, we measure both our follies and our accomplishments." - Christopher Paolini
