The Captain was no stranger, Maria discovered some time after being sent to the von Trapp household as a teacher and governess for the summer. No, she and the Captain were not strangers at all. A honeymoon story, a one-shot. Maria reflects on the intimacies of marriage and certain discoveries about her new husband, especially because honeymoon hair is quite irresistible!

Louisa may be 16 going on 17, but she is sure she's nowhere near as ridiculous as Liesl was at that age – until a certain American boy comes along. But with war devouring Europe and circling the United States, things aren't as simple as they should be.

Georg reflects on some of the moments he has shared with Maria while climbing/standing on stairs! (Because, you know, doors in one story, stairs in another!). Set on his wedding day, Georg's thoughts go catapulting back to key moments in his relationship with his wife-to-be.

Maria Rainier is a sensible girl. The practical type, who's learned to rely on no one except herself. But just when her carefully constructed life begins to fall apart, she crosses paths with a mysterious sea captain, and things start to change in unexpected ways. Here, Maria meets the mysterious and intriguing Captain von Trapp. An AU story that flips the original TSOM on its head. Bits of drama mixed in with some snarky humour. On their honeymoon, Maria and Georg try something that they've certainly haven't before. Or as it may be called: the mandatory honeymoon PWP fic. Title from ABBA's Kisses of Fire.

1957 - The Captain is concerned when Marta arrives at the farm early one morning.

The morning after Georg and Maria get engaged, Georg has to take a hard step in order to balance the two loves of his life. (One shot/fluff!)

One small change can alter the course of history. Elsa misses the Laendler and so Maria doesn't realise her feelings for the Captain.

He was fully convinced that he had never had a daydream before. So when Liesl asks him about daydreams, what could he possibly say? He had only ever read about them in books. He had never experienced them at all. He had never dreamed as long as his eyes were open. But that's just silly isn't it?

Maria experiences a jealousy that she hadn't before with someone other than the Baroness on a family trip into town. Will it drive her away from the Captain or catapult them towards one another? Set in a short amount of time in between when the Baroness takes her leave and the Captain follows Maria to the gazebo. I do not own the SOM.

[Undergoing re-write] She had once looked for her life, she had found it and lived the life she was born to live. However, unbeknownst to her, she had a new destination, and a visitor comes to guide her path. A (very late) tribute to TSOM and of course, the sad passing of Christopher Plummer.

What if their time together were done after that honeymoon? Will the future be as bright as it was when he's alive? Could she carry on without him by his side?

It is Christmas Eve on a snowy battlefield in Holland, and Rolf is waiting to die.

During their honeymoon, Maria and Georg attend a party. However, mingling with the other guests is the last thing on Georg's mind. Champagne is flowing freely, and the newlyweds are feeling mischievous.

Set between the lake and the puppet show. Gretl's illness creates an opportunity for the Captain and Maria to see each other in different ways.

A little one-shot set a few days before The Party. The Captain asks Maria a favour, and as it seems to happen between them more and more, their every interaction brings them helplessly closer to one another.

Three weeks away from the wedding, Maria finds herself between a world she used to know and a world she'll have to know. She desperately needs to get closer to her fiancé, but what will happen when things are not going as she had imagined them?

The Captain denies his feelings and Maria flees to the Abbey. While she's away he realizes the depth of his feelings, but will they ever find their way to each other?

There is nothing more wonderful than your newborn child... whether it's your first time, or you've done it seven times before.

Rilke wrote, "For one human being to love another: that is perhaps the most difficult of all our tasks, the work for which all other work is but preparation." In flight from a dark and dangerous world, bound together by circumstance, but kept apart by private burdens of pain, regret and sorrow, can Maria and Georg find their way to each other?

'They're waiting to know you. They want so much to.' After the argument by the lake, Maria watches as the Captain's relationship with each of his children grows, along with their relationship with each other.

Gretl has questions for her Fräulein. Tons of questions. Answering them opens wounds that Maria would rather forget about. An unexpected friend helps her come to terms with her past experiences.

Ghosts were sad things, they'd said, pearly white and thin. A mere memory of a tortured soul, always hunting for something just beyond its reach.

"It was getting all confusing again. The images. The sound. The sensation. Everything was like a vision - a faded memory." Maria has a nightmare one night and decides to go for a night stroll.

Set place after the events of the movie, where the Von Trapps are travelling across the mountain range. Brigitta's POV. Maybe a few others. Husband. Nazi. Father. I was certain I could succeed in all three of these roles. The Sound of Music from it's most well - known Nazi character: Herr Zeller.

Maria is determined to find out from Georg about the governesses who preceded her. She's willing to use any means necessary. In this crack fic, it turns out that some of them were rather well known.

In a curiously restless mood, the Captain seems to be going out of his way to provoke Fraulein Maria. In the ensuing battle of wills, though she doesn't realize it, she provokes him in return. Written for the Proboards holiday calendar challenge.

Maria finds herself desperate and disturbed at the Abbey after running away from the von Trapp villa. However, and despite her despair, it turns out that life saves her more surprises than she could possibly have imagined. Will she be strong enough to face the Captain and her feelings?

Lost hopes and shattered dreams? Or profound intimacy and boundless love? Maria awoke slowly to the familiar surroundings of her governess' bedroom, only to realize with shock that she was not alone. Oh heavens! With the Captain sleeping next to her there would be plenty of time to have regrets about what happened the night before.

My take on what happens following Maria's return to the Von Trapp household after fleeing to the abbey. It's my first FanFic and I am enjoying writing it but have no idea if I actually any good at writing! I would appreciate all reviews, good and bad please.
