I love writing fanfiction, but sometimes hit writer's block. Please feel free to send reviews or story ideas or challenges! They are always fun and can help get my imagination running.
I just finished chapter five of AA. I can't believe how long it is!!! I have to admit I'm having some trouble progressing the plot. I think its because I'm not familiar with writing with Bill as a major character. i tried looking at other stories and I haven't had much luck getting a better handle on it. I know I asked before but if any of you would be kind enough to take the time to message or review with an idea of what you would like to see Bill like and how relationship like it would be a huge help.
In other news, I have begun chapter six and I seem to have gotten a little bit of momentum. Hopefully I'll get it up soon. In PR at the end I posted a note about requests and I received a very interesting one. I have every intention of writing it but I'm not confident enough to begin it until I have a good handle on AA.
Just finished chapter 6 of AA! Finally starting to pick up speed. I realized that part of the reason I've been struggling because Bill isn't as heavily developed in the world of Fanfiction as many of the other men are. At least in terms of Bill/Hermione pairings.
Now that I know the source of the problem hopefully things will get easier. although, character development is part of the reason i don't write original piece (though I'd love to get published one day)
Any way, Hope y'all like it. feel free to drop me a line.

I'm not sure if anyone bothers to read through what I write here, but I hope so. Mostly because this time I actually have something worth while to say.
Just recently I received a review to AA, and the reviewers included some ideas of what to do with the plot. When I messaged back with a thank you and thoughts about the ideas, they responded saying they enjoyed sharing ideas about stories, but authors didn't always welcome it.
I can honestly say I had to stop and think for a while to understand why someone wouldn't like someone to review their story with ideas. I found a couple but they all seemed half-assed or a bit egotistical (or some combination there of). Please don't think I'm bashing people who dislike reviews that include ideas and suggestions - everyone has a preference and are entitled to it.
From my point of view, reviews with ideas and suggestions are among the most flattering. Any writer will tell you - reviews make our day, hands down. Even if its just to say you enjoyed the chapter we appreciate that it takes time for you to stop and chose to write us and that alone says we did a good job. But I'll admit I favor reviews with a little more meat of their bones.
Reviews with specific thoughts or reactions to any aspect of what's been written are great. They let me know what readers think and feel, and the more I can connect to my readers to more I can write according to the kind of readers they are. They also take a little more time to write, and are a sure sign that your interested in what I'm writing, and that's always important. Ones that include predictions are great, as are ones that have ideas, suggestions, what you want to see. I only get those occasionally, but I know that whomever sent it is invested in the story. They enjoy what their reading, and it sparks their imagination enough that their thinking beyond what they've read. to me, its a huge compliment to see.
One of the best parts about more detailed reviews like those is I get a first hand view into the thoughts of readers. I know what I'm doing right and wrong. Plus, they always inspire me to write more. Not just because of the flattery, but because what they say sparks an ideas. Sometimes I'll incorporate it directly into my story, sometimes it inspires a thought process of a different route in response. Its still my writing, my words and overall plot, but I've had a helping hand or two.
I know it seems like I've spent this whole time just rambling, but I just wanted to share what I was thinking. Maybe some of you feel the same, maybe some of you don't. Either way, I'd love to hear from you and your thoughts too. Keep in mind that as far as I'm concerned anything, absolutely anything, is fair game as a review.
On a different note: I've been reading through some of the stories on my favorites list and I'm amazed by how great some of the authors are. There are people on this site undoubtedly talented enough to publish their own work (and maybe even have us writing fanfiction about it!) On the off-chance any of them happen to grace my profile, I just wanted to say thank you, and you really do inspire me to work hard and push myself just to be half as good as you are.
