![]() Author has written 1 story for Harry Potter. Hi everyone! My name's Jaron. Things about me: . I love to read and write fiction, fan-fiction, or poems . I LOVE Harry Potter . I like to read history too . I am an introvert . I love to swim About Too Late I am writing one fic for right now. I wish to complete it, as I hate it when other stories are not completed. Most likely, there will be WEEKLY UPDATES if it's a long chapter. If it's pretty short, then it would be updated every two days or so. I am not a slow writer, but I do like checking over things, like grammar mistakes or adding things here or there. I am not perfect, so there will be some grammar mistakes and I am sorry if this annoys some of you. That's all for now. Enjoy! So yeah I guess I'm not pretty good at updating regularly, but I will complete this story (hovewer long it takes). I know there are no excuses, but would you guys believe me if I said life caught up with me? Something to rant about I had a revelation about Albus Dumbledore the other day. I was reading a fic that was bashing Dumbledore (don’t they all) and it talks about how he thinks of himself as omnipotent and had delusions of godhood and I was all like- uh no he doesn't. In the books they clearly show how much this man regrets the day he let Grindelwald into his house. As he drank that vile potion, he saw his worst memory of the day when Ariana died. He kept shouting, “kill me instead!” That does not really sound to me like a person that is ‘all-knowing’ if he says such a thing. I believe he had these delusions, key word had, but they disappeared almost immediately after his dear sister died. Yes he had grand delusions of taking over the world and destroying all the ‘monstrous muggles’, but he was a teenager at that time, and keep in mind that he bases his experiences of muggles of the ones who ruined his sister and drove her insane and also responsible of his father going to prison! So yes I believe Dumbledore had the right to be pissed of! Very much so. Yet he had the wisdom to see his failings when he was just a teenager and from there on trying to do better. He never ever claimed to be great or even good. He is just an old man trying to rectify his mistakes and I think we fans put too much faith and blame on him. It also is partly J.K. Rowling’s fault to show him as infallible, but that could be intentional because it was from an eleven-year olds point of view. |
